I wish they had made it password protected. Today I let this little girl play on my computer and without my knowledge she went to Neopets where I'm automatically logged in. She wanted to start an account and for some reason pounded my very first Pet 2004, days old, called Mamothaurus. He is a quiggle and had a petpet attached to it, fully equiped for battle and some abilities. Now I can't get rid of the stupid pet that she has created or adopted because you can pound only one pet a day (thank god for that, because I caught her trying to pound my other pets and she was unable to do so). My pet has been adopted by someone now and no longer has its petpet :( I'm glad she didn't pound my labrat! I'm grieving for my pet but can't see the point in asking for it back. If only TNT had made it so you couldn't pound your pet unless you entered your password then Mamothaurus would still be mine.

I have a few points to make. Sorry if I offend anyone, but I'm just voicing my opinion.

I like the new rule. I'm constantly adopting and labbing pets, just for fun. For a very short time, I tried the application route, but I didn't like it. So now, I just disown them unless I have a specific request for that certain pet.

Many of my lab fosters have gone to new accounts. That doesn't really bother me. See, I keep a record of all the pets I've fostered, and just as many have been frozen that were on "established" accounts.

I did "catch a break" when I was a newbie. My sister was given a bunch of stuff from a girl that was quitting. She gave me a Faerie PB and some other things, which is how I painted my first pet. However, every other pet I own has either been labbed or painted, besides one that was done by a FF quest of my sister's(we give each other stuff a lot), and I think I only adopted one that was painted. A couple were fosters of my sister, that she gave to me, and many of her pets were my fosters.

Off the top of my head, I have worked and saved for a Plushie PB, 3 Baby PB's, and 2 Spotted PB's. I also have 2 galleries that I've spent loads on. No one can tell me I haven't worked hard on Neo to get what I want.

As for people saying, "They're just pixels". Yes, they are. And so are the characters in any other game you play. That's not the point. I don't care what game it is....if you've worked hard on it, made your "characters" just how you want them, and been with it for a long time, you're going to care about that account. And if you happen to lose something like that, you're going to be angry and upset. I lost a pet in transfer once, and I can assure you that I was very angry. But I also know it was my fault for putting that pet in the Pound in the first place.

I've been on Neo for 2 1/2 years. I have no problems waiting for 4 months for a painted pet. Considering how long it took me to save up for my first Baby PB, 4 months is nothing.

Personally, I think this new rule is on the whole excellent. I can't count the number of times I've seen accounts with no shop, gallery, 0 games played, and a last login date some 50-infinite days ago - with four painted pets! These pets are then abandoned and left to sit there; much worse, in my opinion, than being in the pound.

This will cause [many] problems at first, but it's really not that bad. As TNT said, on neo (and real life), time passes quickly! I can hardly believe that it was two years ago that I was collecting my first Advent Calendar prize ever, when it seems like just yesterday!

In honest opinion I don't mind the rule. My youngest account is 10 months anyway.

I like the idea of a neofriends only adoption thing if they ever decided to allow that. Sounds like a great idea.

My friends and I were testing colors and stuff and we came up with these colors that can be adopted:
blue
green
red
yellow
purple
white
silver
glowing
shadow
split
speckled
skunk
checkered
brown
orange(sorry to all those orange grundo lenders)
pink(sorry to all those pink pet lenders)

I didn't test invisible, ice, camouflage, strawberry or sketch though.

Does anyone know if asparagus or other chia pops can be transferred to under 4 month accounts?
