This thought might make everyone groan....I know you are all trying different theories but just like on the first crystal...if you read a wrong scroll you had to go back and read them all....what if one of these theories were correct but we didnt get the next clue due to the fact we read scrolls after the sharp eye message and didnt reread them when we followed a theory that didnt work....

If, and right now that seems like a big if, I have this right:

Crystal 1 colors: BYRR xxYB RBRx BYxY
Crystal 2 colors: GGOP xxYB RBOx GGxG

then changing
the primaries: YBYB xxxx xxYx YBxB

Note I have NO red scrolls in this 8. Here's my run-down:

Y Nem
B Kha
Y Set
B Nem
Y Ben
Y Djo
B Nem
B Kha

Going by the new Card Catalogs (in order of the cards)

Yellow

Ruki Population Surveys
Civil Records New Acquisitions, Scamander Room

That looks like what I did when I got the Anubis message (although I did have a red). I'll be interested to hear if you get it also.

Just confirming before I dash off to the repository - most people have been getting the anubis message using the colour subtraction method and the new card catalogue order?

So if I had a red FER and now it's purple I should be looking for a blue FER?

If you remember, tabbing on the last page of chaper 5 shows a link in the picture of the city fading away. I just checked and the first one is of the same tower that we put the chrystal in. I clicked on it and nothing happend...but then again, I am still looking for my second piece.

any thoughts on this?

There's got to be something sitting right under our noses that we're missing. Kinda like we're so close to it we can't see it.

The second crystal colors do correspond with colors of scrolls in the racks, but they don't correspond with our Card Catalogs ... is there a step somewhere regarding the "Wet Paint" we need to do to get the paint to dry?

Or, is there another set of Scroll Racks/Card Catalogs somewhere in the repository that hasn't been found yet that has the three new colors?

I guess I should go try reading these 8 scrolls and see if anything happens. Will be starting with blue (second color on my first crystal and the first color of the new scroll racks) *shrug*

I'll post back after I do this if anything happens.

Has anyone tried reading both scrolls that make the new color? Yellow Kar is now Green Kar so read the Yellow and Blue Kar scrolls?

I mentioned this idea twice last night with no feedback so I'm in the process of testing it out as we speak. Three scrolls left...I'll let you know how it turns out.

If we think about wet paint...
first, you aren't supposed to go near it.
Second, it is usually darker until it dries,
Third, it takes time to dry. ....nope, nothing here.

I did my scroll reading perfectly and nothing happened. Are we supposed to read the scrolls like this:
Blue index eye tablet
go to room
read blue scroll with eye on it

I recall dirtside was here a while back, popped in to smile and hopefully assure us that we are not way off track or anything. But I also sort of wondered about a pause/delay for the paint to dry and people to catch up to the near-end. I wouldn't rule that out, then again I haven't tried all my theories here yet, I admit. So many have been ruled out though.

Red + Yellow = Orange
Red + Blue = Purple
Yellow + Blue = Green
