Ohayo y'all!

Good to see nothing has happened since I went to bed. Big thanks to the rest of you for bringing up some of my old ideas (56).

As I have been stating everytime I return, has anything new been discovered? Welcome to the plot goblin1981. You will find it will dominate your life.

Oops. No. Didn't think of that. Might it be significant which scrolls are eaten as opposed to being read? I don't think so, because a pet will read a scroll, then if you click the same scroll again it will read it again--or perhaps eat it. Thoughts, folks? It's just weird enough to matter.

Great! More gourmet club items! That is just what we need!

Here is my question - Is Neopets so cruel that after that darn temple they would actually make us do a task that would require mapping the entire infernal repository??? I REFUSE to map the stupid thing even out of boredom. Heck in spite of the boredom.

So my thought on the plot is this...There HAS to be something with the scrolls. What? couldn't tell ya.

The 'first princess of Sakhmet' is probably an Aisha (the TC has the silhouette on it of Jazan and an Aisha (this particular silhouette also has a different hairstyle than Amira more like Princess Sankara
but that doesn't mean anything). Also the Neopedia describes Amira as the First born daughter of King Coltazan III and says 'Also see Prince Jazan' but Prince Jazan does not appear in the Neopedia.

Any thoughts? or am I totally off my rocker?

EDIT: how do I post a screen shot? I could then show the TC I am thinking of.

Since everyone else is refusing to do stuff and I'm one for bandwagons, I REFUSE to go to the Fruit Machine or buy Lost Desert foods until this plot is over! I only sorta refuse mapping the repository. I never refuse charity, unless I feel it is undeserved. I always refuse to bend my ideas to fit another's mold.

Oh Sky...I am so glad someone has a sense of humor around here. Keep it coming!

just in case anyone was thinking that combining a mirror and the crystal would enable us to see something new...

all I saw was the smirking face of Jhuidah, as she handed me back my black mirror and useless crystal...

i mean, c'mon.... who makes a plot trip all over itself to a stop near the conclusion?? honestly! who does that?!

and this is definitely doubleplusungood ;)

Haven't they been doing the tripping since the beggining?

Has anyone returned to the previous Lenny Conundrum? Now that it's over, we can say things like "The letters make a sentence if you start in the middle and read in a widdershins spiral." This sentence in turn gives you a sequence of colors--a sequence which as far as I know is the same for everyone. The colors are exactly the same as the colors on the seals on the scrolls in the repository. I tried having my pet read/eat scrolls with my faerie statue symbol (Kar, the leaf) with seals in that color sequence. Nothing seemed to happen. But I re-used several scrolls, since if your pet eats one, a scroll that looks just like it appears in its place. Has anyone tried reading/eating repository scrolls w/ "their" symbol, using the LC color sequence, but not repeating any scrolls?

Can anyone figure out some other way that the LC colors tie into this? It seems like too much coincidence that the answer is "Nabile," and the color exactly match the repository scroll seal colors.

I tried reading scrolls in LC color order. Strangely enough, that requires me to read 3 of the 4 scrolls I have not been able to find in the repository. Co-incidence?

I think someone here did succed in reading in LC color order, with no results. It was several splits ago.

Swiss cheese plot

I think the Aisha to wed Jazan is Megan. In the TCG Card she is looking for a "wand" in what appears to be some sort of Temple/Tomb. Does the wand Megan seeks refer to the Sceptre of Qasala? (TCG: "...and the spirits danced and sang all throughout the night. The curse would soon be broken.")

Also, earlier in the comic "Tomos finds the Ring of the Lost and evokes the Spirit of the Ruins." So why when he puts it on this time did it transport them back to Sakhmet? This plot has holes like Swiss cheese, in my opinion.

Personally, I am still suspicious of that Desert Kougra in Chapter 10 (Part 2/4) that says, "She could end this all now, and I can return to my family!" (referring to Amira accepting Jazan's proposal)? Jazan is a Kougra, so perhaps there is some link to their "royal families" after all? Maybe Amira actually did something bad in the past, and this (not finding true love) might be a sort of curse for her. "She always thought she'd have her pick of men" but she could never be happy with any of them.

Cursed! (From a woman's perspective). :P

if you want to see all the possible scroll responses - go read any scroll and hit F5 (refresh) until you see them all

:(

My computer is all messed up and it will not load the comic. Can someone show me the frozen pages with the thought/word bubbles already in place?
