Finally something good is starting to happen day by day ...instead of just explosions and "nothing". My petpets level got raised to 2 today.

Well, the day they were released I managed to find 2 in random events not more than 5 minutes apart. I think they're so cheap, comparitively speaking, is because there's so little they can do. There's only a handful of petpets I can think of that are too expensive for the majority of people to save for and buy. Petpet paintbrushes are also incredibly cheaper than their pet counterparts. 130k for a Maraquan pppb vs 1.7 million? And levels for petpets are virtually useless. Aside from the avatar, about the best use I see for this is for people who lab adopted pets to give to others can now give them a free petpet.

On my first, I had a yellow snowball turn into a Tyrannian puppyblew, then a pile of soot. On my second petpet lab I got soot on the first zap. I have absolutely no use for it on my main now since all of my pets have the petpets I want for them already. I suppose I could try for a jelly meepit or snowickle on my other account...

Wow. I'm deciding currently whether to go and buy every piece, or wait it out.... the price is sooooooo much lower by every day I check ! A question that has probably been asked many times before...do you have to have the Secret Lab Map to use the Petpet Lab Map? I have heard yes(s) and no(s) in the response of this question before so...simply setting the record straight,

Nope...no Secret map required (thank heavens) I think I may buy it as well, depending on how far down it goes.

Yes, you DO need the regular secret lab in order to use the petpet lab. If you attempt to turn in the petpet lab map before the regular one, it'll tell you that since the petpet lab scientist is the regular lab scientist's petpet, you should find the regular lab scientist first.

I got it yesterday, my petpet gained a level on that day, and today it changed into a spotted feepit. To be honest with you, the only reason I had gotten the map was so that i had a fighting chance of getting all thoese avatar pets that i was too lazy to attach to my own pet because i dont have the pacience to wait however many days it takes to get the avatar. Hopefully ill get one or two of those.

yes it will. Everything changes back to normal when you take off your petpet
