Item Duping

right click properties if it was modfied or created recetnly then it is duped.... and how did the ppl dupe items?

Hm, apparantly TNT is deleting items that were reported as duped..

Although I dunno how they plan to handle the items that weren't reported or the stuff that was used. Sounds like a lot of people will still get frozen over this.

Good items alright.
Apparently someone on the trading post got a grey paint brush from the money tree and is pretty happy about it.
I'm guessing they don't know that it's probably a duplicated item ...

On second thought ...

I'll just set it so only NFs can send me things and go on the boards feeling quite safe.

Yes. Every item has a unique identifier number, in addition to its item type number. If there are multiple items with the same UIN, then the later ones were duped.

that is not that good then, cause i got a thyroas tear for 99k, and i wish i could keep it and sell it for 1 month later

I miss the whole thing. I will love to see all the expensive stuff refreshing at the money tree.

I think I am lucky to miss the whole thing too. I will be the first one to buy any paint brush that is 99,999np at the wizard if I am online. If the dupe item is to be return to TNT, I will be losing 99,999np per paint brush.

Well I reported my big expensive perhaps duped item last night, and I'm not frozen, and I still have it, so...

Guy who gave it to me was frozen though. Maybe he accidently gave me the real one of the bunch. :p

Going to go play with my new weapon now ^^

I wouldn't hold out too much hope that you get to keep it. There are still at least 50 duped T-Tears on the trading post.

Chances are pretty good that you'll lose your item, too. Whatever you do, don't try to sell it.

Wow, and I slept right through this all. o_0 My bro told me about this stuff about 12:30 last night, but neither one of us were aware of the scope of it. I feel bad for all the people who were completely innocent, but got frozen because they got a duped item through no fault of their own. I hope TNT sorts everything out quickly, but I'm not really anticipating any new updates to the site for a while. I'm just glad I have my items set to neofriends only.

I have to say, it's one thing if someone sends you an item, or if you happen to find an item at a really cheap price in a shop, but it's quite another thing if there's 50 of the same item that is worth millions. I mean, come on, 99 T-Tears? Shouldn't that raise a red flag to anyone who's been on the site longer than a week? 50 G-Bombs? I wouldn't even buy ONE of any item worth over 1 mil, let alone 50. I'm not saying everyone is at fault, but someone should know better than to buy an item if there's more than one in the shop.
