I post in chats all the time and i have only recieved one warning for saying 'smurf' which i guess is deserved.
I find it funny that people are using the term 'crazy' mod. Why do you automatically assume that it is TNT at fault? I'm sure there are reasons behind all these freezings.

You're either here to troll or are incredibly ignorant of the TNT's past history despite your name here. There is always a reason behind the freezings. They click a button and one automagically appears when you try to login. It's the validity of that reason. It's been proven on many occassions that TNT's bots are more than a little low on the intelligence factor in AI and the human quotient is so unreliable, to put it mildy, it'd be laughable if it weren't for all the people unjustly losing years of work.

Well, I think there are new mods who are being just too zealous in an attempt to prove themselves. I also think that something like the "probation" time I had when I was chosen as a mod for a forum might be a good idea.
In other words, if a new mod on the site finds something they think is bad, it would have to be looked at by a long-time mod (think super mod) instead of just being able to log into their admin board and do whatever -- maybe be able to warn, but nothing else on their own for a certain amount of time until it's proven that they really can handle the job, follow the rules (as well as any of us, being as vague as they are in some cases) and have the common sense to know when to do something and when to not.
NA is a great person and posts, yes. I see you there! I just don't post alot. But if I recall, he does know what the mods/bots can do.

I don't post much on the neoboard and usually when I do, it's off topic. I'll admit I've never gotten a warning...even after 3 pages of "Captian Planet owns" topic on the BDC. XD
I really think it's the new mod, or someone new to the BDC that was doing all the freezing and suspending.
I would say they wanted BDC to stay on topic 24/7, but they can't be.
Sometimes there are no reasons, just freeze. -.-
Huggles: I saw that on NC. That's really odd 4 people onthere got frozen so close together.

yeah kinda creepy now to be on neo now

Meh, I don't like the boards. They be scary.
But Armi, I saw that Captain Planet board. It went on for a while. Bloody hilarious.
Everconfused, that's not a bad idea, but it'd mean a lot of work. It'd meant that for the probabation period, you'd need two mods on the board at the one time (assuming that only 1 mod monitors a board at a time). Instantly, it means they need to waste money. A mod isn't really a real job. I mean, they probably get really pathetic pay, but I don't think that Doug would see any reason into training them.

Yes, that was some funny stuff there. There were two topics on Captian Planet and I was saying how the kid with heart couldbe the toughest if he used his power right.
We even sung the Captian Planet ending theme song.
*sighs* Neoboards aren't that bad when you can have a nice laugh about stuff.
BTW, I think the mod cooled down cause they're freezing people that need to be frozen now...like the CG person who was auto spamming on AC and BDC.

I lurk on the BDC alot .. post here and there .. and as of late have seen topics removed instead of locked like TNT said they would be. One topic that comes to mind (not sure which board it was on.. was bouncing around on the boards) was a person asking if moving items from their side account to their main account was wrong. The reason they wanted to know was because they had moved items from their spare account to their main , came back the next day to find both accounts on ice. In minutes the topic had been deleted and the person warned.. and all he was asking was when it was no longer allowed to move items between your accounts.
The site has way to many unwriten rules that we don't know about until we break one of them and recieve a warning or the chia guy when we try to log in. They need a simple list of rules not this lawyer mumbo jumbo.

Hmm, the only reason I go on those boards is to advertise something I'm selling that's unbuyable. I'll try to remember to avoid them as much as possible from now on.

i was at the boards i posted goodluck in a board that someone was trying to adopt a pet from the pound, i got a warning

And it had three pages. xD

I've heard about the freezings/suspensions and it sounds like someone is just going overboard.
They'll most likely calm down within a couple of weeks when they realize they can't be that strict/hasty.
On a side note, they are doing a few good things. A spammer by the name of Havoc_ was suspended, and a few hours after they got it back, they were suspended again.

Havoc's one of my best friends. O_O
But, yeah, he *did* deserve it.
But if you look at the BDC, about 50% are spam. O_O
