Actually, forget that last one...

Nah, they love us because they get the real scoop on what the players love and hate about Neopets.

It's no coincidence that they are FINALLY compensating us for items lost to glitches. It's no coincidence that they added Kauvara's secret code after someone on here suggested it (in fact, Adam even acknowledged it here on PPT--anyone besides me remember that?). It's no coincidence that Adam came here just recently to ask us to test out the sidebar, to ask (one Sunday) if the ads were causing pages to load slowly, and to ask our opinion on "Stuff."

And, if you ever doubt that we are loved and appreciated by Neopets, it is no coincidence that Adam came here as soon as he found out about the password glitch last April. He wouldn't have done that if he didn't care about PPT. Think of how many players' accounts were saved because of that.

They may get annoyed with us for being "whiny," but they seem to appreciate our feedback.

And, I would like to add one thing. I wouldn't still be playing Neopets if it weren't for PPT--and my guess is that a lot of us feel the same way. Neopets has no sense of community unless you are in a really good guild and even then, you cannot let your hair down and talk honestly about how you feel about the game. You can here. And there is always someone here to help you if you have a problem or just listen if you need to vent.

Sapphire Faerie, I love that av--expecially the winking! So innocent and yet so devilish at the same time.

And I HOPe all of you read this:

Do not ask questions out of the picture when Adam is here. DON'T! It drives him away. He doesn't answer. And he'll think we're a buncha' New Member! And are we that?

NO!

Well I do think we're appreciated ... to a point. When Adam, Donna, Snarkie, and all the other wonderful staff who do take the time to come here don't want to throttle us. Let's face it, we do make a point of venting/letting them know when we're really unhappy about something.

At the same time, some of that venting has done some good. Like when Adam found out people were being warned/frozen for typing the word ebay. Did he ever get our member's account unfrozen for that one? Should have been.

And yes, we were asked for feedback on the sidebar/banner (I didn't get in on that one, but saw/read alot). And now "Stuff" ... I wonder when they'll make the decision whether or not to keep that name. I need to make a new sidebar!

As to the April glitch, yes there were posts but it was after the fact. I still have some issues with the way that was handled. And there are people who never got their accounts/items/pets/np back from that. But I really don't know how much of the decisions made regarding that were in the hands of even Adam or Donna. That was truly a big "Oops".

Overall I admit to being very impressed. Not necessarily with PPT being mentioned in particular, but with the fact that these people DO take time to come here, post, give us information, ask for our feedback, they always have great patience, good humor and do try, if they can't accomodate input or suggestions, to give us reasons why - and to fix the things they can quickly (thinks of Snarkie with the lookup, Pyramids, et al issues). All in all I think they're pretty great!

hear hear! This forum is invaluable as being a safe haven, a place to vent, to get help, to congratulate or be congratulated when something good happens, and find out information we wouldn't know otherwise. Thank you PPT!!! Long may you reign <3

Members are free to question other members on the site, if Adam comes here, he does it on his own, and he does it because he wants to come here. I am quite sure he understands that he'll be questioned, and that it comes with coming onto a neopets fansite.
You are neither a moderator, a Global Moderator or an Admin. You have no right to order any member of this site around. He won't think we're a bunch of New Members, he'll think we're a bunch of fans.
Ontop of this, some of us are new members, to both PPT, and to neopets. It is no insult to be a new member, and it's insulting to people who are new members for you to say things such as that.

Oh, ahoteinrun, you are the one who should get a cookie now! ;)

Everyone of us was new to Neopets and to PPT at one time. And, we should never, ever forget what that felt like.

My first day, I traded my daughter something expensive I found on the ground (codestone, PB, I don't even know what it was) for some omelettes. She said I wouldn't need that item, but really needed the omelettes to feed my pets. My husband got so mad at her for doing that to me. They had both been playing a few weeks longer than me--and I was like a little lost lamb. Ah, the good old days. :>
