I know what you're referring to. I just can't find the point where the MP matches it, pixel-wise. Color is close.

First I thought it was the grey faerie snowglobe in the CC, but its not. Still no idea what it is, and Ive examined the news about 16 times already. :/

Yeah, it is NOT the grey faerie snowglobe in the caption contest, and that's the only "depressing" thing I can see in today's news (without clicking off the news page). I think we need to forget that "clue" and look elsewhere.

I just found something on the news page to go with the depressed clue but it doesn't match up.

Guys, we're pretty sure the "depressed" clue was pointing to the grey faerie snowglobe in the caption contest, but that is not the answer -- it needs to match perfectly, and that doesn't.
Someone on the neoboards suggested this:
