Yes, this was discussed several splits back... we have various theories, including that she is royalty and doesn't know it and will fall in love wth Jazan, thus fulfilling the prophecy and blah blah blah...
Just check the splits around the date of the comic coming out for interesting discussion of it.

Actually, I was still writing my post before you posted. If I did have a choice, I'd choose your representation since it has great visuals. The third last sentence was added while I was waiting for a break in the postings. To reiterate: everyone, calm down. Your Morale Officer suggests: NUMB3RS for West Coasters and Friday-Nite-Fix for everyone else. Trust me, eureka moments happen. I think that is little mean spirited. I prefer to read through all these posts (after all that is what this board is for), then read through all those pointless stories and junk that has been allowed to continue on this board.

It's ok - tensions get high when there's finally something new out and nobody really wants to take the time to read through all our splits.

Hmm...you can put the crystal in the cooking pot, eh?
Maybe we need to find a ball to make a "crystal ball" so the fortune teller can give some acurate predictions, eh?

I'm really leery of doing anything at all with that crystal since I can't get another one and only those of us who had been covered in scarabs can actually get it...

Has anyone made a list of the things that your pets say when they read the scrolls?
So far I've got: "I don't think that scroll was very much fun", "That scroll sure was tasty. Er, I mean, interesting", "I never knew that before" and "Very interesting reading"

Actually ... I think I have been pretty good about reading through all the splits.
I'll admit I scanned super quickly tonight because of the excitement, though.
It would be super cool if you had to read all 420 of them. That would really make it tuff for people to just "quickly" solve the plot.
As for the glass ... I'm betting we just need to hold onto it ... something cool will be done with it at some point.

ok, got the crystal, reread the scroll in the temple, nothing, and as XenaandGabrielle pointed out, the colours from the temple doors and scrolls are different, so there goes 2 of my ideas... i was hoping it'd be simpler than more mazes and searching, sigh, well beginning to map my scroll racks

I suppose a key card is as good a theory as any. I think they probably have some purpose and we don't yet know what that is.
The holes could be to link them all together. More teamwork! Rah!
They could be lenses used to make the scrolls / tablets suddenly clear / translate them.
They could be useless as their title suggests. (But I want to doubt it.)
Maybe they'll fix the fortune teller's crystal ball. Maybe they are pieces of it and that's why it no longer works.....

Has anyone read their "understands" scroll since getting this crystal?
Is there anyone that works with crystals or the sort? We got a dirty fragment (or whatever it was called) and it was useless until we took it to the toy repair guy.
I went to the toy repair guy, and I went to the Brightvale Glaziers and nothing. Any ideas of where else to go?
