Getting so bored with this furniture moving and Scamander scamming, that I thought to embark on re-translating my table 2 different ways:

I thought to simply translate it backwards hoping to somehow "reverse" the curse (meaning from bottom right, from right to left, upward),

and also to try to somehow skew the translation, since mine reads "The prince of Qasala will cause the disappearance of the city of Sakhmet" I thought perhaps somehow I could get the translation to read, "The city of Sakhmet will cause the disappearance of the prince of Qasala" or something along those lines.

I still think the Fortune Teller is mocking us for a reason and keeps trying to redirect our attention to the Tablet and the Comic.

My question is, what are you guys observing on the other floors? Are they very full also?

Yep, same story on all the other floors (and I know, cause I had to go up to the fifth :)) I got lucky though, there just was a blurry spot on which I could place my scroll rack when I arrived on the fifth floor... But there's not too many blurry, let alone solid spaces left, so the moving will probably done very soon!

Tried the backwards... it doesn't work. Clicking on any symbol in the plot, in any order, takes you right to the finished tablet with the same prophecy on the bottom.

Reversing the prophecy is a good idea, but I think there's got to be more to it than that.

I very much agree about the fortune teller pointing us elsewhere. I think it's crazy that the fortune teller is still talking about the ruki's building furniture, when as we all know, they were finished with that a week ago. Why isn't she mentioning us hauling the furniture? There must be something in there. I'm also stuck on her mocking us with the 'remarkable" comment.

Finally, this was the original news about the upcoming Lost Desert plot:

Quote:
Lost Desert Plot Update - The first installment of our new storyline set in the Lost Desert is due to go live next week. You will start to see these strange scrolls around the site. Maybe you should think about holding on to them...

That was on August 26. Month & 1/2 later and I've yet to see any, let alone hold on to any of them.

You grab the Scamander and...

It wriggles out of your hand, barely escaping through a hole in the floor.

Better luck next time.

Do we know if anyone has actually been sucessfull in keeping one?

Hate to bother the forum over this, but I am stumped on something that everyone else has that I don't at the Fortune Teller's:

Everyone claims to have a scroll spinning to the side or on top of (?) the crystal ball? Whther in HTML or Flash, I have no such scroll spinning.

Anyone know why that could be, or if it is even significant (necessary)?

EDIT: I think the Scamanders are escaping into cracks to help save the City.

No problem.. You have to load only the image then minimize your screen from left to right (make it more narrow) and you;ll see it. ;)

Edit: It's actually to the left side of the fortune teller image.

Anyone who's still moving furniture: If you have AIM, can you join the lostdesertplot chat room? That way we PPTers can help each other find open spots for furniture.

Nabile pwns you...

you need to view the flash file without it being embedded to view the core image. You'll have to stretch your browser horizontally to view the scroll spinning.

Even like this, I can only see the very edge of the scroll. What is that all about anyway? Leftover junk, or something that will ride into the picture at an appropriate time?

I doubt it will actually move into the picture but to see the whole thing, you need to !squah" the browser by resizing it so it isn't very tall but is very wide, so the space on either side is revealed ^^

No, we don't know. I can tell you that in the beginning of the plot, the image was actually this. Then it changed to the spinning ben scroll one that is up now.

Indeed the most perplexing part of the plot to me thus far. What the heck is she trying to suggest to us? Maybe we need this information or the scroll will come into play later when we figure out something?

ARGH! *rips hair out* :P

Thanks for that - I said it backwards! That's what I get for trying to cook supper, deal with my daughter, chat and post at the same time... *shakes head*

Well I just did a complete tour of the 1st floor and couldn't find a single chalk mark, blurred or otherwise.
