the thieves are using the furniture to defeat the zombies ..
in my experience (as i ran right into him once, on my way out to get more furniture), when the ID moves is when things tend to turn to "most stolen" (in need of being replaced right away)

If the thieves are fighting zombies, then there would be a way to get into the city, unless they are fighting zombies in the Haunted Woods.
Also, learning from experience is just an excuse from those that didn't have enough training to begin with.

yes, well i already mentioned the possible link to the Haunted woods, but no one took me seriously (as per another Lenny Conundrum):
"It starts in the desert but not in the plain,
But then? Not in sunshine, but found in the rain.
(Where does it rain in Neopia? The Haunted Woods, just check the weather.)
After that, just ask Coltzan, Amira knows not.
And end in the pyramid; not a temple or hut.
Put them together, your next task's in hand.
And perhaps a great city will return to this land."
(PS -- by experience, i meant when i ran into the ID)

I was under the impression that the LC had nothing to do with the plot.
EDIT: Additionally, it's not 'raining' in the Haunted Woods.

the last several LCs were plot-related ..
can anyone confirm or deny if the last part of the description on the Explore Page (scroll all the way down) for the Haunted woods was italicized before now?
"Haunted Woods
The spooky halloween world! Who knows what evil lurks within these haunted woods! Read scary stories, embark on chilling quests, and beware the beast that lurks behind the tree... "

They were plot related.
That doesn't mean anything. Whenever something's going around the site, TNT tends to base the regular events (eg. LC) around the theme.
Yes, that was like that before.

well the weather does fluctuate, but the haunted woods is the rainiest ..
otherwise, maybe the 'rain' is referring simply to the Flooding Chamber traps in the Temple/Tombs (where the Scarabs are trapped)?

I've clarified the first post about not needing to wait after placing as well as the "lockout" situations.
IM if somethin's wrong!

The "rain" refers to part of the answer to the LC.
Sun Oct 09, 2005 5:47 am
? what do you mean ?
the answer was Sand
how does that relate to rain? other than that they are both elements of the earth (and i assume Neopia)

lol

Read the entire thing.
It starts in the desert but not in the plain,
But then? Not in sunshine, but found in the rain.
After that, just ask Coltzan, Amira knows not.
And end in the pyramid; not a temple or hut.
Put them together, your next task's in hand.

The answer was sand.
If you work it out, there's a letter for each of the first 4 lines.
Picking it apart won't do anything.

this is so irritating and fustrating, over 15 minutes refreshing in front of a stolen table place, and as soon as it gets fixed someone already takes it. this has happened to me too many times, i dont know why i keep getting tables. one time from a refresh it went from being stolen to being there. and i dont have a slop computer, this thing is really fast, but still i miss them

yeah, i freaked out first time i saw the lc....thought for sure you had to solve it to do the plot, but you don't. just like the math ones, it's part of teh theme but not directly linked. i don't think we're going to find any of the answers to the plot there.
anyway, goodnight all, and hopefully the ID will be in a more accessible place when i wake up.
