I have 6 unique symbols.

Can someone please say whether or not everyone has the same scrolls in their libraries. I'm sure I read something about it a couple of splits back but I can't find it now.

So... now I have to find the right door to find the library right? And... does this have anything to do with the two odd shapes that don't cancel themselves out on the completed tablet?

I apologize in advance if you've answered these questions over and over. I did catch bits and pieces but have to admit it wasn't so clear to me.

I have six unique symbols, as well as two in triplicate and two in duplicate.

Which makes me doubt that everyone has a unique translation or that the translation is really determined by the symbols. The symbols appear to be random. You can't really mask something that sounds like a prophecy (in the natural language that the tablet is probably supposed to be "translated" into) with something that doesn't show any signs of organisation...

It's a stretch, but.... maybe the symbols on the tablet relate to how many times we're to read said scrolls?

Maybe not. Would they attach a twelve hour wait to something like that? They can't be <i>that</i> evil... I hope...

I kinda doubt that. Okay, I hope so too.

I actually tried rereading the scroll with my statue's symbol after completing the tablet. It shows up three times.
Interestingly enough, the text no longer said my pet understood the scroll -- it was back to the old "...gains a little insight".
Really, I think we'll have to wait for another clue.

You still "gain insight" when you "understand" the scroll.

So you're saying it actually said "READS" this time ... and not "UNDERSTANDS" ?

Okay, should've been clearer -- this time, there was no mention of understanding and the text was identical to that which you get when reading any "non-statue" scroll.

Can anyone confirm that with a completed tablet, you still need to wait 12 hours after reading a scroll? Just considering perhaps it's a shorter wait with a finished tablet

Also - Does anyone have a physical scroll they received from a RE? I haven't seen them. Do they coincide with symbols from the temple? Could there be a connection there?

Ok, I was just looking at the Neoboards, and some guy is swearing that we all have 12 different statues, not just 1. He said that you find the other 11 by reading a scroll, then finding a door that corresponds to the the scroll's color and symbol. The shape of the door you're looking for is supposedly the same one from your riddle on the Tomb entrance page. Has anyone tried this method. Has anyone seen more than 1 door with Nuria in it bearing a different glyph at her base??

Tried it, does nothing for me. About 99% of what they post on those boards is bull, by the way.
