Ha, this av was great because I didn't even have to buy a cheap plushie. I just went to the money tree, grabbed one of the many there and re donated it.

Maybe some people are using programs, but I have a cable connection and manage to get items from the money tree daily (I'm also working on the pack rat av). It helps to go during non-peak playing times. At around 7am EST, I can even pick stuff up on the second refresh (as in, after I've seen it, and then refreshed and it's still there).
