Im so frustrated...seems by now everyone knows my predicament. Can people please tell me what they did in the repository, etc before they went to the temple to get spiked. Also, was your spiked door symbol the same as your faerie symbol. Mine was, maybe that was the issue. Im clutching at straws here folks...I need some brainstorming. We know it isnt anything obvious, I must have done something before going to my temple or the fact that it was a SAF could be ????? ANy ideas my brilliant cohorts?

Try looking at the first post, the info is all there. You have to wait till your city is lighted by a crack in the wall.

Some one said there must be a rhyme of reason, if the "sharp" of "sharp eye" means spike, then eye means oval... but there can't be one color oval that is for everyone cause there are so many ovals... ::put head down:: i think i gots me a headache

Well, I went through a blue triangle door with the TEP symbol and got the crystal, so it doesn't seem to be that.

New question: I put the crystal in but Im not seeing any colored dots. What it going on?

There will be three separate hours out of the day that you will have light coming in through the crack in the ceiling. That's when you can get the colored dots. You'll need to check back every hour until you find one of the hours. They occur every 8 hours and are different for different people. Mine are at 5PM, 1AM, and 9AM NST, but someone else's are at 11PM, 7AM, and 3PM NST.

Thanks, I jsut went back and still don't see your responses! I'm having trouble getting pinkpt to load every few minutes too. Sorry. Maybe a glitch. Brainstorming is what I'm trying to do. Since my light is only on for 40 more minutes, and I can't try another color for 1 hour (sigh)

Thanks so much, in about 5 mintues I can try, guess Ill just try a random door, I only "knew" of one specifically "spike trap" door. Hey...it will work eventually. I just cant imagine something I did in the repository would affect it though

i asked this earlier but i guess no one saw it, with the second crystal, are the colors on the top different? the first crystal had red, blue, and yellow, is this one the same? What about the sequence of colors when the light shines, are those the same colors?

I haven't found my trap and my light comes on in half an hour, so I may not be able to participate for a while, so I wanted to try to help brainstorm. Sorry if that information was already posted, there have been so many posts it's likely that I may have missed something!

I waited HOURS for my light to be back on, traversed the temple to the secret room, only to find my useless crystal MISSING. I had put it in my gallery for safe-keeping and haven't had an RE at all. It's not in gallery, SDB or inventory.

*Heads back to the stupid Chef / Foreman - grumbling about the 4th floor*

Is this your first or second crystal?

2nd crystal. Went to chef, gave me SECOND crystal again. No new message on his page, just re-appeared in my inventory.

Ash, I can't find a spike room, so I feel your pain

I have read extra scrolls since the sharp eye message. So I will be a good test for you when/if I find that room.

Although, I'm thinking of running the 12 scrolls to get hte sharp eye comment again, just because... I'M BORED!!

I guess it isnt that bad.... at least some of them are on the same floors but I have on in the Anubis Toxicology Reports >_> Curse my rotten luck... Well I have till 3 am to get these scrolls found and get a spike trap before my room lights up XD

To explain my statement earlier in the thread... I said 5 hours because if you went through all the colors and found the right color last you would have been locked out 5 times which translates to 5 hours. There are SIX colors. Yellow, Black, Red, Green, Blue, and Silver.
