Which would end up being...

X=-12
Y=-222

Right?

So my room would be 6, 3.... But yet no spell book Someone help me please!

I found the spell book finally!

Actually someone else helped and looked at the coordinates for me. To give you an idea, I had 54, 21 as the room.

My totals before adding the digits was 54, 948 so I was trying room 9, 21 for awhile. Apparently the theory worked from the board, just know that if there is only a 2 digit number after adding the coordinates that may be the answer. If that even makes sense.....

YES!

This is correct...if you have a two digit number (be it positive or negative...in my case -78 means 78) that can be the room number instead of adding them. I am glad I saw this before I went through all of the rooms to get there! Thanks!

46+16-14-14+16+46 = 96. 9+6=15

Try room 18, 15. Also try room 18, 96 (apparently)

I added them together and got (468,96)

I would try 2 different rooms:
18, 15
and
18, 96

Some people with numbers like you (the 96) that already have less than 3 digits dont have to sum that number to get the room...so instead of doing 9+6 to get 15, your y-coordinate might be 96. But it could be 15, I don't know, that's why I said check both.

And is the first room you enter counted as 0 or 1 when starting counting your grid towards your room?
