Someone on the boards claims to have found a constellation, she has screenies on her petpage:

Can anyone tell if it is a genuine or fake screenie?

Fake, probably - the field of view is too dense with stars.... It looks like they just copied a circle from the star map page, but that star map page shrinks the distances between stars.

umm i thought it was a fake at first too..

but ah..how can one person playing for 4 months have a Marquan pet, and Baby pet, AND an island pet?

Look at the letters in 'sure' and 'record'- they're all wobbly. My liar sense is tingling!

Yes, I thought the text looked weird.

The user is still on the AP board, and when ever someone asks for the shape they made or a screenie of that, they don't answer.

I think it is fake.

I am convinced we wont find a constellation until TNT releases another clue - maybe some numbers to make the constellations.

If you look at the right of the "e" in "those" it looks quite ugly, directly copy/pasted over it. Something similar can be observed at the right of the "e" of "make". If you zoom in on the letters you can notice how the artifacts around a letter are sometimes almost not there because of copy/pasting done. This is especially apparent at the right of the "e" of "make".

Even the "O"s in Constellation are "chopped" on top and bottom and the fine background under the text is not even the same as the "scroll paper" nor is the text hovering over it. In fact the letters look different scales, too.

Anyway, wouldn't TNT say "Be Sure To Record It." and not "Make Sure To Record It."?

EDIT: Well I'll be darned. In my incorrect one, the "O"s in Constellation DO look like that! :O And the background under the text. Hmmmm.

Okay, Okay so we've BLASTED this phony to the moon and back...now i believe we can rest knowing that nothign real has happened yet. So no more bashing kwip and her petpet page ok?

I was referring to the latest one, not the earlier one.

It might be real except I question the words "Be sure" vs. "Make sure" for some reason.

I actually have visible proof that's a fake, but I'm too lazy to photoshop.
But just make the two screenshots with the telescope the same scale (match the stars.)
now look at the places where the gems are. tadaa. no stars under the constellation stars. ;D

I just wanted to let you all know that I found my second map.

After reading some of the other posts, I went over to my get_star page and refreshed a few times, and new coordinates came up! The strange thing was when I saved the page, it actually saved my original coordinates. Even stranger still when I viewed the 'Page Source' again it showed my original coordinates and not the ones on the actual page!!

I wonder why TNT are going to so much effort to disguise the second coordinates??

I also noticed that where my original coordinates had a 2: at the end, the new coordinates had a 3:

After reading some of the other posts, I went over to my get_star page and refreshed a few times, and new coordinates came up! The strange thing was when I saved the page, it actually saved my original coordinates. 2 and 3 mean different stars..not different pages...you how you have like 345.-17|6...well instead of your 2 and the end its a three..

but this isnt fair..ive been refreshin and refreshin...and still no secord list...

You misunderstood what I meant about the '2:' and '3:'. If you go to your get_star page and scroll right to the end you will see a 2: placed on it's own (not within the coordinates like the numbers 1-6).

My new page has a 3: at the very end rather than a 2:

Well I know how fake screenies are made, but in this case there doesn't appear to be that which you say. All one really needs to do is take one screenshot and manipulate the text, but in this case it is still hard to tell.

Either way, I assume that person might say a little more how they got to that spot, what they found, clicked, lines they drew, etc. So I won't go on about it. I just so desparately want, like everyone else, to make a constellation that I am grasping for stars .. uh, I mean straws .. here.

what is your last coordinate for your first and second list?

Ahh I totally see what you mean now...when you look at the coordinates in Notepad (rather than within the browser) you can see that they are part of the last coordinate.

For mine it looks like that last number is just part of the last coordinate and it has a ":" at the end instead of a "|". But that is just for mine yours might be different. Mine last number is a 1 btw. And I'm having no luck getting a new set of coordinates to come up. For just a page full of text it sure takes a long time to load, stupid dial up.

I have refreshed at LEAST every two minutes for the last 4 hours. I have still not seen a change on my get star data.
