WyldOne wrote:Hello all. Been lurking here since the beginning of the Lost Desert Plot and finally found a need to post. I know you all, but you don't know me. ;)

Anyway, I've just finished my third unsuccessful circuit of my scrolls and as much as I like trudging down to the catacombs I think I should seek professional help. Eh, but I'll settle for you folks. LOL

First the necessary screenie info:

http://www.teamelitepaintball.com/LDP/

This is what I've read in this order:

Yellow FER in Sakhmetian Special Collections, Scamander room (1st floor)
Yellow SET in Uncategorized Archives, Group 3 (1st floor)
Yellow NEM in Inorganic Chemistry (1st floor)
Yellow KAR in Dormakilian Scrolls (3rd Floor)
Red KAR in Civil Records Standard Reference, Onyx Room (1st floor)
Red SET in Sakhmetian Archives, Room 112 (1st floor)
Red FER in Central Index Hall North, Section Zeta (1st floor)
Red BEN in The Catacombs, Section Dirt (Basement)
Blue SET in The Catacombs, Section Dust (Basement)
Blue SET reread previous scroll
Blue KHA in Special Arts Collection, Finger Painting (2nd floor)
Blue LAT in Lost Desert Literature (commentaries) (4th floor)

Since I am not getting the "Sharp eyes" comment, I assume I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me the error of my ways?

EDIT: Caught up with posts and I'm going by tablet order not catalog order. Sorry for bothering you.

You have the colors listed to read yellow/red/blue...these are the catalog colors...what are the colors at the top of your useless crystal. That is what determines the order to read the scrolls.

The thing is..since the Yellow SET is the first in the yellow category, you shoud read it first. so Yellow SET in Uncategorized Archives, Group 3 (1st floor) ..should your first stop

Argh, that took me ages and I didn't get the message :x

I match up the colours with my tablet then discount the blanks. I match up symbols and colour with the correct colour of catalogue card. My crystal is YRB so I do the yellow then red then blue, and I do the symbols in the order they appear on the catalogue card.

Is all that correct? o_O

Ok...now you just have to get the order right. Yellow first, you should have 4 of them, I printed out my card catalog and circled the 4...make sure you read them in order top to bottom from the yellow car d catalog....then on to your next color and so on until you have 12 scrolls

Sounds quite correct to me... Make sure you're using your own catalogue of course, since everyone's card is different... And if you did that, well, just try again and it might all turn out well this time :)

Sorry if this has been asked before I am a bit dizzy from searching around the scrolls :( When you read a scroll is it meant to say something so you know you read the correct one? all I get is
That scroll sure was tasty. Er, I mean, interesting!

Your pet reads the scroll and hopefully learns something!

nope, you won't get any special message, so essentially you won't know till your very last scroll if you've done it all correctly.

Does it make a difference if you've been back to that secret room since you got the light pattern?
