so you have an account for saving things in???
it's forbidden, but good idea?

anyway, getting frozen, I got that once and I don't even remember why...i forget what I did, but pinkyt22, I hated the name...my original was OMWFC...meh

It's not forbidden to have an extra account to save things in. As long as you don't make any money off of your extra accounts you're ok.

Sorries about this...well, there is always a chance you'll get it back, even if you have to stick up the Neopets Headquarters.

It's things like this that make me too terrified to allow my little brother to make an account.

Hmmm, I may just stop using the computer lab at college for Neopets... such a shame, it helped out a lot. But oh well, it'll probably be better for me not to do Neopets while at college anyway. (I = commuter) And fortunately, I haven't gotten frozen yet. *fingers crossed*

Oh, stampsyne, I feel so bad for you. How unfair! Doesn't TNT realize that people often play this game in public places?

I suggest that you send an email to certain staffers to explain what you think might have happened. It worked for my daughter and my husband. Please PM me if you need any staff person's names, etc. And, please PM me if you decide to make another account--I would like to help you get back on your feet.

EDIT: I hate to be a pessimist, BUT . . . By any chance, do you think this is retaliation for your post about the scantily clad woman on the toolbar? I just find it to be awfully coincidental--a few hours after you post that on PPT, your account is frozen; we have someone who alleges to be Adam posting on PPT about the wonders of the toolbar; that same Adam doesn't really care for the posts made about the things we don't like about the toolbar; and your PPT username and Neopets username are one and the same. Gee, maybe I am paranoid--but maybe not.

I think that is a pertinent question. Did you submit answers on more than one account? Because if you did, it is very likely that they froze you for that.

Oh I am so sorry that happened to you :( That is unfair if it was simply because you happened to log in on a public computer.

Right now I'm using a computer borrowed (after much begging and pleading) from the computer repair shop, as mine's been in the shop since Monday ... can you say withdrawal? I was very tempted to use the cable demo computer they have in the shop, as the tech said I could sit and use that one and I'd love to be able to play games and have them work properly and maybe even try to rs, but something in my mind just said "no, don't log into Neo on this computer" ... now I feel like I wasn't being paranoid. Luckily the tech told me to go ahead and install the same ISP I normally use so I am using my normal email, etc.

Write in and keep writing, the suggestion of getting the IP and whatever other information you can on the place you did use the computer I think is excellent. Please keep us posted.

I'm so sorry to hear you were frozen stampsyne! I go to a web cafe sometimes, but luckily for me neopets is barely known in my country!
I hope you get your stuff back :(

Nope. I did not. However, I did share the answer with two co-workers. We ALL got frozen here except Matt who had his main account frozen but not his backup. He guessed the mystery pict on his backup, but claims to not have on his main. Wierdness.

BTW, Cyber cafe is a very small coffee house that offers free web access.

It was kinda hard in under 50 characters.

I SURE hope not. I was just imaging what some people would say about it. I personally was not offended or upset. I thought it was kinda funny. It was some peoples worst fears realized in one screenie!

BTW- I do not plan on creating a new account in the near future. I want to work hard to earn back my account.

You didn't by any chance Neomail your co-workers the MP answer, did you?? If so, that may be the problem. Although if it *was* the MP that got you frozen, I would think that the reason would state "cheating at games" instead of "multiple accounts" o_O

OH NO! I never really chat in neomail or on the boards. It's not prudent. Guess I wasn't prudent enough. I know this is only a game, but it makes me want to sob!

Were your co-workers with you at the Web Cafe, playing Neo at the same time you were?? o_O

Yes. On many many occasions.

*hug* i'm so sorry to hear you are frozen! :( just after reaching that first million too :(

i'm very worried about the cafe thing, they do obviously mark IPs, and in the past i've shared my computer with my neighbours kids, because for some reason, their computer blocks neopets, and i was planning on using a cafe to help me on neoquest, i think they need to look at this, and if they are in any way reasonable, they will realise that the site has a bias towards faster connections, and people do go to cafes to reach that level

best best of luck getting your account back, if the cafe has like a website or something, you could use that, and if you could find out if they have a static IP and point that out it might also help :)

Oh Im so sorry to hear that your account was frozen :( Hopefully those numbskulls will unfreeze you ASAP! Just keep writing to them everyday and I think everyone should try their best to only log on from home now.

I am so sorry your account is frozen! :( I'd hand write a letter and send it to them, shows more effort. And it also is pretty obvious your more mature than some. If there's anything I can do please please please let me know!
