Good, Im glad about that, although i doubt if he lost anything of value. But maybe others will think twice before scamming people!

GENERAL ADVICE: If you do, please conduct all negotiations in neomail. Then TNT can do something about it. Talking about it outside of neopets, even in PPT, is not a good idea. If you didn't talk about it at all, then you are an easy victim. I feel sorry for both parties involved.

Do I remember correctly reading in the posts that he asked to borrow this item? It tickles my memory ... somebody asking for Tiki Armor to get the 'taunt the pant devil' avatar. It struck me odd because (i have tried to confirm this) that item does not fit the specs for that avatar. Investigation still ongoing. Any knowledgable person, please PM me.

Yes the tiki armour is used for the pant devil av, I was lending it out to a couple of people who had all returned it. My trade clearly stated that it was just to borrow and he even stated in his neomail that he only wished to borrow it. I posted the neomails (or at least copied and pasted them) on the front page of this post.

And no, I wont be lending any other items again, once bitten twice shy!

This is one of the main reasons why I don't like to lend out items. I'm afraid that they won't give it back, no matter how kind and honest they seem, the truth is, you might not know what the person is really like.

But, if this type of mistrust was going on everywhere, then i guess we wouldn't have forums like PPT where there's always a nice person hanging around.

EDIT: I use a program called screenhunter to make screenies. You just hit your command key (I chose f2) and drag the cursor over the area you want. Auto saves as a jpg if you wish. You can also have it open in any art program you want. I find it easier with clearer graphics. I like choosing between free selection, window, or whole screen.

No of course they didnt return my item, but when I was thinking about it, I didnt actually pay for that item cos I won it from the mystery Island plot. So I havent actually lost any neopoints so to speak, although it was 'my' item and I did earn it.

Thanks for the hug, I cant believe how nice everyone has been, I only came on to have a moan and half expected to get blasted for being a silly so and so who should have known better. But everyone has been so sympathetic it has reinstalled my faith in people!

Ok heres the screenies of my neomails:
This is the first one he sent me after bidding the morphing potions on the trade.


Then this is when I asked him if he had finished yet.


Then he blocked my neomails so I knew something was up and neomailed him from my spare account (which btw I do not use to gain neopoints in anyway, its actually what I used to use for a guild I was in!)


And this is the last one, where I attempted to send a copy of his neomail asking if I would 'lend' him the tiki armour. It went abit funny cos i just copied and pasted the entire message, html and all!!


And as I always say, you can tell when they cant argue with you cos they resort to name calling!

just because you didn't pay for the item doesn't make it less though, you did work hard for it, and its a shame that its nigh on impossible for you to get it back

and the program i use for making screenies is called ashampoo snap Ya! its excellent, allows you to select where you want the screenie only problem, doesn't take screenies of movies but i don't think any do *sigh*

as for the screenies, onto it
