But how long before someone gets frozen for the last three letters of "lass"? Wouldn't surprise me..

The word is "awesome", TWW Why it becomes "shiver me timbers", I've no idea, but that's TNT for you!

Now that I think about it, I think TNT made a typo by making "ong" as "avast". When has someone ever said "Ong!" I think they meant oMg, not oNg. Considering the fact that OMG (oh my gosh, etc.) is a much more similar interjection to Avast.

It works for OMG as well. Ong is a deliberately newbish version that people use - much like intentionally using "liek" for "like".
