It's just irresponsible to do such a thing and not say anything about it in the news and such. At least they gave him a warning and not just froze him, with him bieng clueless about the reason of his freezing.. Sometimes TNT can do stupid stuff... :x

Absolutely - if they'd chosen to freeze without warning, the auto reason would be something stupid like using a downloadable cheat, and he'd mail them and mail them and they'd never reply, and he'd never find out the real reason why he was frozen, and then the rest of us would never know not to use that trick.

I think it's incredibly sad that we have to find out what's prohibited just through seeing other people iced or warned for it. No doubt about it, there should be hard and fast rules written out on the site - TNT is failing us.

This is a completely new one on me. I never ceased to be amazed at the things people are being warned/frozen for. It's like watching a car wreck these days.

Ah yes, my number 1 pet peeve/thing I'd most like to see changed on the site - a Full and Complete, easy to read, item by item list in the T&C of what we truly can and cannot do; and have that regularly updated to reflect changes. All these "unwritten" rules or things that are mentioned once in the News (how many people are going to go searching or even think to search through old News for an announcement) - if they put something in the News it should be added to the T&C.

There's alot of people, who for whatever reason, have more than 50 items in their inventory. Me? Don't have that much and couldn't be bothered with having to do one thing at a time since quickstock won't work over 50 items.

They need to make it so you just can't have more than 50 items there - period. If their system allows you to have more there, then how the heck can they warn you that you're "abusing" it?! And clearing the extra items? Like don't even give a person a chance to move things to sdb/shop?

Actually, confused faerie has given me an idea - maybe we could group together, look through old news and people's reports, and compile our own skeleton of a list of stuff people have been warned/frozen for?

It's not perfect but it might help, and if TNT get wind of it, it might inspire them to finally update theirs..

Actually, quick stock can't be used if you have over 70 items in your inventory...

I usually put my items in my Safety Deposit box anyways. Two attacks from the Pant Devil in less than five minutes definately puts you on your guard... Thanks for the warning, though. I'll have to tell my mom...

Although it is a good idea, it would take lots and lots of time, and from what I know, there are not a lot of rules that were writen in the news, maybe little updates. But if you really want to find all these little rules that were put in the news, I'll be happy to pitch in. :)

I received an official warning from neopets that I was abusing my inventory. I had put many more items than the recommended 50. All of my items were taken away by them. It is a freezable offence folks, I didn't know, but I want to be sure you do! They gave me the link to the rules but I didn't see what they wanted me to see... I thought I was being clever, but apparently NOT!!!

Changed your title, connection with the Kadoatery is a bit unclear

Whew. I'm glad I always clean out my inventory every day. Call me a neat freak. xD

I don't really think overloading your inventory is that much of an advantage in the Kadoatery - it'd be just as helpful for Illusen's or Jhudora's quests, since you get more points for being quicker.

At first it sounds pretty real, but I'm still not sure it's just Usedbooks trying to get an advantage by telling other people to have less items in their inventory. It's too suspicious since it's the only one we've heard of.

I'm not sure if I believe it or not either. Since he/she only got a warning, would anyone like to test it out? I'd like to hear it from the mouth of a regular ppter before I set any stock into it. I think of this was really the case, so many people have over 50 items on occasion, that someone else would have said something.

I have easily had more than 50 items by getting things from my SDB. And I've had more than 70, because when I try to do the quickstock, I get the message that I can't use Quickstock if I have more than 70 items.

Someone I know has just been frozen for having 290 items in his inventory and clicking on all the kadoaties when the page refreshed. So apparently now it's a freezable offence, beware!!!

(Thanks Qanda for pointing me here, i forgot about this thread)

Well, I was unsure, but I did see the screenshot in Usedbooks petpage, so I guess it is. I'm assuming it's only feezable when you're refreshing at the Kadoaterie page though, so it's not anything to worry about if you just have them in your inventory for something else. I know you could technically have 100 items up for trade at one time if you had 10 lots with 10 items, and I've done that before with nothing bad happening, but maybe that's changed too, I dunno.

That's a shame. But it's also understandable. I mean if people are using their inventories to cheat. The only other problem I see with this, is the lack of TNT to tell ALL their users of this 'new rule.' It's sad because people do certain things on the site, then get frozen for them and have no clue why. They could look and look in the T&C and never know why they were frozen. I believe the rules/T&C need an update...soon.

It's a reasonable rule, only having 50. You're lucky they only warned you, though. After all, it could very easily be considered cheating (taking advantage of a glitch to put yourself in a position of advantage relative to other users who see that they're only supposed to have 50 items in their inventory).

It really would be nice if they'd just come out and say, "You can't do this. It's cheating. We'll freeze you." in the news, and make a note of it in the T&C as well.
