Woohoo! Congrats! I knew at least 3 gold winners, 2 silver winners, and 2 bronze winners besides myself this round. Pretty crazy. (But I threw all my votes to PPTers, obviously! Still feels good to see people in other places who have supported me do well, and I don't have to feel bad that I couldn't spare them any votes this round.)

Regarding the new contest, I think that might be Random Contest art? Perhaps? But I can't tell what species that's supposed to be at all.

I'll try to enter a few captions tonight, and some more each day until Friday. Maybe I'll come up with one funny enough to get in. I should check what number the French one is on, too -- you can enter an avatar one in any language, and my jokes are mostly the same (un)funniness in any language.

ETA: According to the news, it's a (sheared?) Gnorbu. Makes sense!

Oh, don't expect your prizes or trophies anytime soon, by the way. I'm still waiting for my prize from at least the last time I placed (maybe the last 2 times? I lost count...). They'll get to us eventually; you'll get a NM, and find the NP and item in your inventory (and your trophy on your look-up).

Good to know on the wait for the trophy. Seeing as they're working on other prizes at the moment, I'm sure this one will be at least slightly delayed. So long as we get it eventually!

TNT stopped the prize script when those things were contributing to the already awful lag. Now that the lag is better, they'll hopefully start awarding prizes again, and they should hopefully clear the backlog in a few days.

According to someone who's been keeping track, they're currently ~7 weeks behind.
