the Cup is inside the Colloseum. in the intro, it starts by zooming in on the Col., and the address is the same as the col. with "index" at the end. mny guess is, when the plot is over, they won't need the Punch Club, right? so they'lll make the Altador Colloseum link go to the Cup. with a label, i'll bet.

It might be that the final clue can't be solved until after or during the AC.

How are you doing it three times ? You're not supposed to do plots on multiple accounts, its against the rules as you (usually) receive a reward at the end

I think they'll keep it as it is for a while, but make the main entrance lead to the cup, and the side entrances still leading to Punch Club.

The cup is the June event hinted at in the editorial. It's a separate thing from this mini-plot, and I seriously doubt it will contain any kind of clue -- we have the archives and the rest of Altador for that, and a sports cup doesn't have much to do with the Hunter and his constellation. Sure, if there ends up being a plot clue in the cup, then we can (and will) talk about it. But I for one am GLAD the mods banned cup talk in this thread, because it has its own busy thread and talk about it was taking over this one and making it really annoying to read.

And anjuna, just drop it. It's not "difficult" to avoid talking about the cup in this thread. If you can't think of anything to say that isn't cup-related, go post in the cup thread or just stay quiet now and post again once we actually have a clue.

That is SO true. Nobody wants to get frozen over these things. Please be careful! I did the plot twice, but I was at a friend's house helping them ... so that doesn't count.

Anjuna's last posts have had nothing to do with this issue. There's no need to be so negative. A lot of people aren't as sure as you are about the lack of connection. You're probably right, but since the plot isn't over yet I don't see why all speculation about this has to be banned. I know what Scott said, and I don't have any speculation myself; it's just a downer seeing members bashing on each other.

Like I said, if there is a clue in the cup, we can and will talk about it. But right now all we have is a flash movie showing a bunch of people playing a lacrosse-type game, and that doesn't contain much to speculate about plot-wise, now, does it? I certainly don't find it difficult to avoid tying some 16-world sporting event to a bunch of constellations. But I guess that's just me!

Well, at 44, I'm not your darling, and the other part is nothing to brag about. I wouldn't know about the rest--I'm not a TNT mind reader. I do know, however, that a lot of speculation on the boards goes on very little information.

ETA: Maybe I should actually talk about something besides the cup myself, huh? I'm hoping we get a constellation tonight. Would be nice to finish this plot before the next event starts up, and would definitely be nice to get a constellation before the weekend in case anything goes wrong. I'm thinking it will probably have something to do with the archives (otherwise why would they have been opened up again?). I still have no idea what's up with the necklace and the statues. I'm anxious to see how this will all end!

Oh my, I didn't mean to cause such a fuss. If you want me to post everything cup-related in that thread, I am trying to do so, but it is difficult for me to almost what I consider "double post" my related sentiments. Plus, there is not actually much to say about the Cup, as many have pointed out, yet there exists an entire forum of people making banners about which they have no clue what it is to come of. No offense.

I am relieved to know that some others suspect this could be a distraction and/or related to the Plot, but I do not mean to "drag down the forum" (sarcastically and bitterly remembers reading every single post of the Altador threads and remembers many a time when there was more useless speculation than necessary).

I will shut up, if you all want to talk about the Hunter, which no one apparently has anything to say about (no speculations, no comments, no relations to the Cup even, goodness forbid anyone assume the events could be related especially since they are in Altador and released at similar times). I have said my piece on that, that I think the Cup *is* related to the end of the Plot and I can see how Hunter could be related to Sports in many ways, even if the games continue on after the plot. I could be wrong as so many theories have been. So flame me.

I would rather rest my clickie arms then search for clues for the Hunter.

I think you're taking it a little personally. Yeah, I called you out by name, but only because I found the passive-aggressive "c*p" thing sort of childish. It's not like the mods made the "no cup talk" rule just to pick on you. I read this thread yesterday and it was so full of cup talk that it made the separate cup thread seem pointless.

("Cup" stops looking like a real word when you type it so many times! Heh.)

And I think there's far too much crazy speculation and unrelated discussion most of the time. The cup stuff definitely isn't the worst I've seen, not by a long shot! Some of the stuff from the Lost Desert Plot thread was just... *thinks of the poetry, cringes*

Also, I think there's not much Hunter constellation spec going on simply because we've been waiting so long since the water plant that we've actually -- *gasp!* -- exhausted the topic! I didn't think it could be done!

EDIT2: Go back to the HoH
Click on the Janitor
Click "Visit the basement"
EDIT3: Go to the archivist. He'll say something about finding only part of the const. and looking for the rest
EDIT4: Go to the rock quarry. Find a clickable rock somwhere on the right. Click on it and the Jubjubs will have a fit. Buy the rock for 50np.
Return to the basement in the HoH. Talk to the Janitor and click on the Sun button. You should get a page saying "The ceiling starts grinding closed..."

I think this is where you have to use the rock to stop the ceiling from closing. I have no idea.

That's all I got.

EDIT: It's only half of the constellation, so I guess we have to "hunt" for the rest.
