you are telling me that there are people here who have searched *every* rack in a given section as listed on the card catalog, and that they haven't found the corresponding scroll somewhere in that section?

All 36 of my scrolls were in the location given by the card catalog.

Remember that some "sections" actually have multiple rooms associated with them. I think there should be a scroll of the given color/symbol in the area as listed in the card catalog for everyone.

This is EXTREMELY important information ... if you can actually verify this. That would cut down on ALOT of theories that have been put forth.

yes i had a few of the scroll colour type missing....but i will go look for them in catalogue order and confirm, just in case i merely missed them.

Wouldn't that just let us know that reading the scroll that matches the color/symbol that you looked up in the card catalog doesn't work?
That is useful information to have, but I don't know if that's the best method to use anyway. I mean, if you did that, you would only be reading three different colors of scrolls. What would the other colors be for?

That is useful information to have, but I don't know if that's the best method to use anyway. I mean, if you did that, you would only be reading three different colors of scrolls. What would the other colors be for?

I played around with the colors a bit... taking the order of the three colors on my crystal and applying them to the lights on my wall (ignoring blanks because 3 doesn't go into 16 evenly, but does go into 12 well).

For example, my first dot on the crystal is red and the first color on the wall was yellow... which gave me orange. When I was done, the empty spots I designated white. While this gave me the whole spectrum of scroll colors, I see no immediate application.

Correct me if im wrong, but it seems like the random phrases that the pets say when they read a scroll are not random anymore.

I've read about 25 scrolls in the same room and the pet has said the same phrase "Hmm, interesting!" for all of them.

not new - if you read enough scrolls you will get that - of the 50 or so scrolls i have read, i have got that about 5 times

edit: correction - missed the sharp eye part - never seen that before

I took the 16 color spots you get from the mini-city and matched them with the tablet. It gave me 12 symbol/color combos.
Then, I read those scrolls in the order that they appear on the catalogues, first the red catalogue, then the blue one, then the yellow one, since that was the order of the colors on my crystal (RBY).
I got that message on the last scroll, which incidentally had my faerie symbol and door color.

Does that make sense?

Did you read the scroll that had the same color and symbol that you looked up on the card catalog? In other words, you read the scrolls of the color of the lights and symbol from your tablet? Or are you saying you read a scroll for each symbol on the card catalog list? What did you use the symbol / color combination for?
