That, no one really knows, although we assume that the fearie should come first simply because you may be held up by not visiting her and reading the scroll corresponding to the symbol on the statue

Heh, so much for sleep :P

Right now, it looks like it doesn't matter whether you go to the statue first or try the door under the one dot on your parchment.

Allright, I tried my #2 door combo again for a piece and I didn't get anything. So it is not visit door "X" times as far as I know.

I'm thinking there might be a delay in which the piece "appears" in that spot (much like the wait for the library) but it's a hidden value that may be unknown or it's one piece a day. Maybe it's 1 hour for the first piece, 2 hours for the second piece, 3 hours for the third piece, etc.

I'll try again in about 7 hours when I wake up in the morning. Hopefully something will come about.

Thanks for trying it a second time, though!

So ... what we know about the dots:

1) It's not the numerical order we need to try finding pieces.
2) It's not the number of times we need to try that room.
3) The riddle in front of the temple does not change after getting a tablet piece.

What we haven't tested:
1) Is the symbol at the bottom of the faerie statue the same after getting a tablet piece? (at least I don't think stinkyllama did test this...)
2) [Can't really test this at the moment ...] Perhaps this parchment is only going to give us the first piece ... and we have to wait to find the second piece.
3) Perhaps with time ... the fortune teller will see something else in the ball that will help us find piece #2 ... and there is just a delay before she seems something.

Well, you take some time off and look what happens! I still haven't finished mapping my temple yet (up to 53 rooms) and haven't found my faerie. Blah.

Good luck to you guys.

Ok because i'm just now finding out some things so i'm still a bit confused so i'm sorry if this has been asked but i'm not about to read 5 splits with 10-11 pages each split.

the parchment: do you need that many pieces to complete the tablet or do you keep going back and playing pyramids after finding x amount of pieces?

also, how do I know what door to start from if i'm to count 10 doors? that is if i'm understanding this right. which i'm probably not.

We are still trying to figure out the complete significance of the parchment from pyramids. What we do know if included in the first post of this split.

As for counting 10 doors ... I don't think you're quite understanding it right.

From the parchment ... you'll have to read the column vertically ... use the column under the 1 dot ... and go to the door that has that color/shape/symbol. Therefore, you'll need some sort of map of the temple to really figure out where it is ... or just blindly go around looking for it.

are you sure about this? has anyone gotten a tablet piece by using a column that wasn't a one-dot column?

i think the dots are the numerical order, but i suspect there's a time limit on how soon you can go back and get another piece, if you have a two-dot column on your parchment.

Runevalkyrie tried a column with a 2 at the top ... and didn't get a piece.

It could be a time limit between pieces ... true. Rune will try that theory tomorrow.

I've added my map to the first page to give an example of one method to make a map. I figured it'd give something for people just starting to work with.

Throughout the threads ... there are many of the ways that people have decided to map the temple. Just remember that each time you go through a door ... there is a door in that next room that will take you back.

Nope....the statue is the same. Boo. :P

Sat Sep 10, 2005 8:45 am

what if the numbers are telling us how to read the parchment like we have to go diagonal or something to get the right combination or something maybe everyone can start from 1 but its only the first combination. just a thought if anyone can follow what im saying...
