Yeah, because that's not a real gelert; it's a shopkeeper. I've said on these forums and elsewhere that the shopkeepers are WAY better drawn than the real pets, and that's what the real ones should look like. If they did, I'd really like 'em. (And also, I said I hate "pretty much" all gelerts, not definitely all of them.)

I am just not a fan of either of those two. The Gelert's ears are way off, as has already been mentioned. And the Aisha is just meh...nothing special, and pretty much a monstrosity, in my opinion. I hope TNT really doesn't release either of those, as they do have potential.

Hmm, I'd consider myself a pretty rabid aisha fan, but that one leaves me cold (bad BAD pun ). It looks bloaty and wrong. ...Like what an aisha covered in snow rather than an ice aisha. It's a bit different from the other icy pets, which is nice, but they could have gone a step further and done a redraw to make it more icicle like, more angular, and done something really cool.

I was rather looking forward to this one too. I hope they can do something else neat for aisha day. This is why I was hoping for a new color, they're almost out of options for new aishas.

Edit: And come to think of it, anytime they do even a minor aisha redraw, they seem to end up being pretty huge.

Wow, that IS way better. I don't like gelerts a whole lot either (although I definitely liked my Blue Gelert better than my current Blue Quiggle <_<), but this color is just awful.

True, and the more I look at it, the better it is and the more I appreciate the effort. What I'm most worried about though is that since Aisha day is approaching, that they're going to spring a redraw on us and all the aishas are going to be bloaty and 'cute' à la jub jub.

I think the ice is adorable as one variant of the Aisha species. I'm certain that's what they intend it to be. One of the defining characteristics of Aishas is their sleek elegant look. Look at Lady Osiri, as an example.

If they end up anything like what's featured in the Caption Contests and such, I'll be disappointed.

I agree completely, I love my aishas just as they are, but there has been talk of an aisha redraw for a loonnng time. And I believe that it is one of the few pets that in recent years hasn't had a design touch up. If the did do a redraw, they could remain sleek elegant, but given the more recent colors (ice, plushie) I'm most afraid that they'd wing out to the cartoony side. ugh, I can't even think about it.

Oh, snot aisha is def in my top..10 aisha colors. It's so drippy and cute, if I had another boy, I'd want him that color.

I wouldn't say plushie is recent. Aisha are my favourite species, and personally, I eagerly await a revamp. Albeit, the Scorchio and Flotsam should be in front of them in the queue, but I think TNT has a bit of a soft spot in their heart for Aishas, just look at all their colours. I'm hoping that, therefore, they won't mess up their revamp.

oh wow, the fire gnorbu looks great! i like the spots (my favorite fire pets are the ones where it looks like their 'hair' is on fire hehe)
Edit - The mane isn't very well drawn though.... the coloring is good but other than that?...
