Well I came back to try reading my scrolls again (thanks for everyone helping me earlier!), after finding one missing before. Mr. Insane checked it out for me and told me there were no bugs. But, very curiously, the very catalog I was having trouble with has changed slightly >.>

I'm going to run through it now, and hopefully I can just read them all without a hitch now. Sounds like maybe it's the same trouble Kess was having? One of my friends found her 3rd to last scroll was missing, I'll have to catch her later and see if her catalog has changed at all. I'm anxious to catch up and get on to the next bit.

Gah! I'm trying to fix supper, but had an idea so ran back in to post it.

If indeed the new crystal is over the old crystal as it seems, line up the lights with the tablet as before, go to rack in order of crystal dots (they are still there, just covered up,) and look for scrolls with light color instead of rack color.

(I hope you see this and it makes sense, Cran. I'll be back as soon as I can.)

o.o that is actually quite the good idea I forgot there were purple green and orange scrolls XD and considering it matches up with the symbols you just might have it XD


....Thing is though (and I'm not disregarding your theory I actually find it a very good one) but isnt there more than one color scroll in each area with that symbol in different sizes...this I don't know about it for sure there are so many scrolls >_>

Here's a warning for ya: don't get your new useless crystal stolen or lost or discarded. When you go back into the trap to get it, guess what, you don't find another useless crystal.

I sure do hope i get one after the lockout.

Not only that, my first useless crystal is gone, too.

Oh dear!
Maybe go back to the chef? It looks like the first and second useless crystals are glued together to make the second one.
I was going to go wander around the repository trying scrolls but of course the catalogue has changed so I have no idea what to do now.

The question is though, which rack do you go to before trying the scrolls?
Do you use the colour matching in the first crystal on the new catalog?
I think that's what I'm going to try first.

did anybody ever figure out what's up with the colors and why i can't get them from putting the original crystal in the sakhmet model thing?

I have my new crystal yayyyy

I found it through a door that I had written down when I first started to look for my faerie door, for some reason I had written next to that door (which wasnt the correct door) spike trap
And lo and behold when I tried that door it was a spike trap

Thank god I did that before I got too lazy to map my whole temple lol

Question for those of you that were able to get the 2nd crystal...

Had you clicked on other scrolls since doing your "sharp eye" sequence?

I got a spike trap but was unable to get the crystal. I just wondered if my theorizing/reading other scrolls had messed me up.

i had taken screenie of them but mine will be different from yours.

Random thought - maybe with the non-primary colours you have to subtract the colour that made it non-primary (added to the original tablet) to get the right colour?

For example in my first tablet the leaf was red, but now it's purple - so since red + blue = purple, blue is the colour I need?

Going to try with the purple and such scrolls first though.
