He's the big hancho of Neopets. He bought Neopets in 2001 or something along the lines of then. :S

In addition to what he said, he's the corporate head of the company. Adam and Donna are the creative heads, they're allowed to do what they want with the site for the most part. Dohring handles all the coporate sponsorship stuff, therefore, the ads were his call.

Ah thank you. I just wondered when he'd took over. Well I don't like him... greedy corparate faceless business men. Urgh....

Before I download firefox and start blocking ads...are you sure it couldnt get us in trouble or iced? I mean wont neo not make money if the ads dont appear?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Neopets gets money just for putting the adds there. Sort of like a billboard, they can't help it if you don't look at the ads, but the sponsor still pays. The only possible exception is if they are being paid per click.
