I'm still on my quest to finish level 10 of snow wars. I finally beat level 9 ... and am working on level 10. I've had only a couple of random events (neopoints on floor ones) ... but nothing strange yet.
I remember why I stopped playing snow wars ... finding those single snowmen are so annoying. (I've been down to 1 random single snowman away from winning 3 times now ... and each time I fail to find it. AAARRGGHH!)

Nice try! Turns out I also have it. Unfortunatly, I don't know how I got it. I think it's probably doing something in Terror Mountain. This is what I did today:
Did Snowy - Blasted
Did 1 Snow Faerie Quest
Went to the Igloo, bought a card.
Got a stupid random event, a non-snow one.
Looked at the Snow wars page.
Bought a Ice Lolly.
I don't know if that's help, but that's what I did in that area!

congrats on getting the sidebar! I am not getting many RE's at all ... so I doubt it increases your chances of it.
So you didn't notice a random event where you got the sidebar?
So ... "Happy Holidays" The other ones have said "Neopets Winter"
So, Full Metal Alchemist ... what does yours say?

Not really. After going back many pages using the back button, the random event was a dragon flying overhead me.

Well, "The Man!" had posted a screenshot that showed his preference page ... and it said "Happy Holidays"
I guess he deleted it. I assume it was a fake?
