There is a hallway behind the statue of the darkest faerie.
There is no way to get into it now, but it is there.

That's a different hallway? The way I thought of it was that it was the hallway that you had entered through. Unless there's another hallway that you would enter through. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ^^

Oh wow there is....
Was that always there, or is it new?
Edit: Actually it does seem to be the hallway that you enter through, because of the archway and all....

I presume that the hallway is the entrance you see as you enter the Hall of Heroes, just as you can see the Observatory stairs behind Gordos.

It could be the hallway you enter from, but i don't think it is, because it branches off in either direction, but doesn't continue on straight. Just the fact that it goes in two directions makes me think that we'll have to do some exploring. Oh joy, we'd better not have to map out another building.
On a side note, you can get to the stairs from the picture of Gordos's statue, and there's no link besides the one for the celing in the darkest faerie's statue page, so I don't think there's any way to get to it yet. I've tried editing the url to put in 'hall' and 'hallway', but neither of those did anything. So we'll just have to wait and see. Oh joy. I just love waiting, don't you?

Oh, that makes sense. You're right, it does branch off. Which means that it's either a totally new hallway (which leaves the question "where did we get in?") or the hallway through which we enter has a branch in it. Mapping this out might not be a bad idea, even if we don't have to. Although I wasn't part of the previous plots and don't really know what anyone had to do in them.

maybe.... although if you look at the picture of the statue
it looks as if there's a back wall. Would there be a back wall if it was the entrance? And would it split off to either side? Unless its one of those weird entrances with a wall in the way that you have to walk around to get to the room....

You're right, I see the branches now; I didn't notice them before.
Since we can see the stairs to the obervatory and the mysterious branched hallway, isn't it slightly odd that the janitor doesnt appear to be behind Jerdana, but remains there in the larger view?

That's a very good point. The button's not there either. (Her tail blocks the top bricks, but in the big view the button's on the bottom)
On a separate note, I don't think the writing on the plaques on the statues is going to have to do with anything. If you look at them, they all seem to have the same inscription.

We don't actually
know what the entrance looks like except at the hall it is an arch. The entrance could very well be a long curving hallway.
I really think people are over thinking it.......we don't have any new information and until TNT updates, we can't move forward.

The drawing/plaque/whatever that's on the left side of the back wall is also not appearing in either of the statue pages where it should be appearing (notably the king's).

I'm willing to bet the inscriptions, as you mentioned, say the same thing. Probably something like "this is so-and-so, they are a hero of Altador."
As for the Jerdana thing...that's rather odd. Either a continuity error or something we should pay attention to.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but why would the archway be our vantage point for the room unless that's how we entered the room? And there appear to be no other entrances or hallways, at least not yet. So the fact that the hallway branches off leads me to support the idea that one branch is the entrance and the other leads to an unknown area.

Thinking about it, that makes sense. So, going with that, we'd have at least one area to explore. Excluding the thought that those reddish tiles may move at some point in time, revealing some sort of mysterious basement or something.
