Okay....this is really frustrating. I went through the order of the scrolls twice and neither time it worked.

That's about 5 hours wasted.

Anyways, what am I doing wrong?

I mapped the bxrbyxryrbbxyrxy code to my tablet, then went to the directory, assigned them.

Then I reordered them in the way they appeared in the directory (top to bottom).

The same exact thing happened to me, and in the end, I left the repository entirely and came back in, and guess what? My card catalogues were slightly different.

So I would recommend going in and out and double-checking your list, because that's how I finally got mine to work.

I have been through the ******* scroll sequence a dozen times without getting the *** **** "sharp eye" message. I am about to quit this damn plot.

I assure you there are TWO red fer scrolls in my royal archives, a "b" type scroll and a "c" type scroll. Neither one of them gets me the ******* message. I am sick and tired of clicking back and forth from the 5th floor to the basement with no results. It's not fun or challenging anymore, it's frustrating, especially now that things seem to be moving along and I'm stuck.

The fact that there's two of a scroll you need to find, might show you that there's something you've done wrong (like missing a blank for example and therefor having your sequence wrong), cause as far as I know, there's always only one of the scroll you need to find...

Hi everyone!

For those who are keeping track, I went into a black oval door with an ankh over the top, changed the URL and got my crystal.

Going up to the model room and clicking on it caused the new crystal to be used with a new pattern of coloured lights.

The source code gives me:
yopxyyoxgrooxxgp

So: yellow, orange, purple, x, yellow, yellow, orange, x, green, red, orange, orange, x, x, green, purple

Going to try the same thing as with the previous crystal and see what happens. *Sigh* looks like more wandering around the respository!

the web site posted a page back has something wrong. It says each color in your temple is a different trap. My first door I tried was green oval. It was gas trap. Next I tried silver oval, also gas trap. Next I will try different shape and different color.

Hangman, actually I had 2 blue Nem and 2 yellow Fish to be read. You just read the same scroll again - in the order demanded by the catalogs. I had to go to 4, then the basement, then back to 4 to read the same scroll.

I had two red RA's I had to read as well, and since they came right after another, just had to read them again right away

Kess, are you exiting the scroll repository in-between attempts at reading your 12 scrolls?

Before I re-started to read my 12 scrolls in order of the card catalog I left the repository and re-entered.

Someone suggested that you should only have one of that scroll to read - maybe re-check symbol/colour of scrolls for the umpteenth time?

Sorry if you already have done this. I have no other suggestions

Wait I think I may have found the problem... of course this is the third time I've thought I've found the problem and every time it's another exercise in futility.

I'm sorry, I expressed myself completely wrong Let me correct that: the fact that, of the one scroll you're looking for in a room, there's more than one, shows that this might not be the right scroll.

darn, my hour was finally up, and I got a water trap. Another lockout for me!

At least maybe I'll get some of my NaNo written....I'm kind of glad we're back to a part that has a lockout component.

Gah! I'm trying to fix supper, but had an idea so ran back in to post it.

If indeed the new crystal is over the old crystal as it seems, line up the lights with the tablet as before, go to rack in order of crystal dots (they are still there, just covered up,) and look for scrolls with light color instead of rack color.

(I hope you see this and it makes sense, Cran. I'll be back as soon as I can.)

Here's a warning for ya: don't get your new useless crystal stolen or lost or discarded. When you go back into the trap to get it, guess what, you don't find another useless crystal.

I sure do hope i get one after the lockout.

Not only that, my first useless crystal is gone, too.

I found a duplicate of a scroll I had to read, earlier on, as in, I read it, kept going and found another one in the same, was very odd.

You have to change the URL to get it? How in the world did anyone figure out to add that?

When you get the spikes you will see 2 skulls in the spikes. If you click on the eye of the bottom one it will take you to that url. I guess that is what the whole "sharp eye" was all about.
