He meant pinch it. So make it as skinny and long as you can.

I think that is a remnant of the HatIC plot comics. It doesn't look to be of any importance.

Is anyone still here?, I have been reading your post for s few days now and just registered. I made my map. Found the faerie, read the scroll and understood it. I am working on my 9th tablet piece (I hope I can catch up). So thanks to you all, couldn't have done it without you.

Okay now to add a few Questions to the pot (the reason I registered)
1. How did you get the names for the symbols?
2. Has anyone been smart enough to have kept up with which tablet pieces were added in what order? If so, perhaps we use just the pieces that were added and do the same method of Translation. (Honestly I hope not seeing as I haven't kept up with what changes took place on the tablet and which piece I received where)

Yikes! That sounds like a good idea but I hope it's not it cuz I didn't keep track of it...


EDIT: Oh yeah, and the names for the symbols were found on their IMG name (right click the image then click Properties).

If you right click on the symbol image the name of the symbol is in the filename.

Nope, you can rest easy as there is only one way to translate the tablet and once it is translated clicking on the symbols brings up the tablet page.

As a matter of fact, I kept up with 3-12, however... not for plot reasons. I could probably guess the other 2, so if it is part of the plot (which I highhhly doubt), then I'm semi-ready.

1. right click on the tablet piece and view the properties. Each symbol has a name. Hope that helps, sorry I can't be more clear.

2. yes, I have kept track. That's an interesting theory, but so far TNT has been fairly nice about allowing room for error (letting us get parchments more than once, not having to win games to get parchments, etc.), so hopefully we won't need to know the order our pieces were added.

I'm having issues finding the embedded symbols in the comics... if i have yet to have found the faerie statue, could this be the problem?

Going back quite a few pages...

I'm thinking that something you do triggers the flash file to move the scroll over into the crystal ball, as after a simple look - you would know it fits perfectly.

It doesn't fit.


I could've cleaned up the scroll a bit better before I moved it over using PSP, but you can see that it's too big in any case.

Nelanth, you don't need to find the statue before you translate the tablet, just look a little closer.

Finding the statue is not important until after you have the tablet translated. Please see the first post of this thread, it lists where the embedded symbols are.

It's not that, I didn't find my statue until well after I had the tablet translated. (Why is it always the last door? Sheesh.) The symbols are a bit tricky to find the first time around, you have to keep a sharp eye out for them. Also, they only show up when the segment they're in is highlighted, so you can hold your mouse on one square, then move it to the next, and watch for what shows up that wasn't there when it was shaded.

...that might not make a great deal of sense. I'm sleepy. If not, someone else will reply with more intelligence, I think.

I believe you can just hit the Tab key and jump from one symbol to the next.

With an earlier post, I said the second part of the prophecy (if it exists) might be about the marriage between Jazan and the princess.

You can see that it says "soon have a queen by his side." That sure as heck sounds like a prophecy to me.

I doubt that we will be able to guess the next prophecy (if there is one). I'm pretty sure they'd check you had done all the steps up to where you get the next prophecy before it tells you it's right.
