That arm is in the same place as the Sad usul arm. It was probably just artist oversight when they were edidting the sad usul picture to make it look happy.
I just noticed that aswell ...
Makes me wonder how they can make suck a stupid mistake...

Yep, I asked Apranum on this and he thinks those are the real names for Thieves Dagger and Staff. Some weapons are called a different name in the battledome.
TNT never did say we'd get weapons.

Those have been sitting on the servers for quite some time. Many neopians were dissapointed with the darigan pteri not being released on Pteri day. Old news, sorry.
