I want to know how a captain of a ship with a small crew could "forget" he locked a crew member up, and not notice that all hands were not on deck and at their assigned stations when they sailed into the storm.

I think that the crew might be figuring out where to go and which direction, that's why it's so slow (without Hoban-the-navigator). But I may be wrong.

Maybe by making it super duper slow (and by sticking the ship in Fairyland...a place that is visited quite a lot, I'd imagine), more people will see it and realize that there's something to do. Plus, I recall a lot of people complaining about things like the Altador Cup which they couldn't participate in because they were on vacation. Maybe TNT decided to make this plot slow so that vacationers could catch up and not miss out/be so behind? Just a guess. (Of course, this helps those people, but does nothing for us others)

You know...that really makes sense. That TNT always looking out for the average neopian...but just PLEASE make it like 25% faster! (yes i know they are most likly not reading this :P )

Aye, 'tis gone again, but the question be not is it there, rather it is where has it gone to? *feels like talking weird* I haven't checked the other boards lately, but I'm sure they're still demanding an Altador appearance  I guess they're thinking Plot prizes may come up that way :roflol:

Sat Aug 19, 2006 7:26 am

People (or Neopets) just don't hop into magical boats and sail off from distant lands for no reason... if we knew why they were sailing in the first place, we might know where this whole thing is going.

I would think that they're merchants, seeing as you can buy goods from them.

NT Editorial wrote:First and foremost, THANK YOU, TNT for all the effort you put into creating the plots. They're great! I love you guys! :D Now, if you don't mind, *please* clear something up for me. There is great debate over whether any prizes will be given for all the star hunting & mapping that was done in Altador prior to the Altador Cup. Even though King Altador promised we would be rewarded for our efforts, some say there are no plot prizes for the Altador Plot because it was a "mini-plot." They use the fact that Altador Cup prizes have already been awarded as evidence to support their theory (since the AC came after the Altador Plot). Others think the prizes are coming, and patience is a virtue. Would you please settle the debate once and for all? You WILL?!? I *knew* it! You ROCK! –navynora
We love you, too! And patience is a virtue. There's no doubt about that. :D

This particular puzzle was a mini-plot, yes, and it was made to run long so that lots and lots of people could participate. Trust us; many people are still stuck at certain points judging from the rest of the editorial questions. ;) Don't worry. King Altador will not go back on his word. You WILL be mini-rewarded for your mini-efforts on the mini-plot. (In fact, one of the prizes has already been waiting on the server... but you didn't hear that from us.)

The question is....
How much longer o_O

I know we all want those prizes but does that tie into this topic somehow?

Sat Aug 19, 2006 9:58 am

the ship is gone!

Sat Aug 19, 2006 2:38 pm

I don't think the ship will appear until tomorrow.

I just discovered tdmbgpop in faerieland. was it a part of a previous plot like the parrot?

We're speculating because we're bored. It's more fun to draw to inimaginable conclusions instead of sitting here waiting for the ship again

On topic-ness: I think it'll appear in Maraqua simply because we didn't believe it could fly, why not go underwater. This is Neopets, and TNT does write this stuff. Anything's possible
