I can help solve this "debate"! :D

1) The Lost Desert Plot was much more difficult than the Altador Plot. ;)

2) The Water Plant was much more difficult than the Lost Desert Plot. :P

There, now we can all agree (or agree to disagree). 0:)

Isn't that some sort of conundrum, though? How can a part of the Altador Plot be more difficult that the sum of the Altador Plot? >_>

Anyway, for me:

Temple of 1000 Tombs >>>>> Water Plant >>> Remainder of LDP (probably) > Remainder of Altador Plot

Only because I never got past the temple in the LPD.

Lost Desert Plot was infinitely worse than the Altador Plot. The basement and Anubis Toxicology Reports made sure of that. I'm lucky I don't have nightmares or something. I didn't find much in the Altador Plot remotely difficult (except maybe following some Neopians' badly written guides). Neither were dificult per se, only one was more tedious than the other.

Wow, is this debate still going on? I had wandered off ages ago (and it looks like Cilian did, too ;)). I think that if you didn't actually solve anything and just followed a guide, both plots were relatively easy, just tedious. If you actually tried to be among the first to figure out each step, the LDP was much harder. And that's 50% opinion and 50% fact, as far as I'm concerned (;)) -- there's no debating that it took much longer, per step, for people to figure out what we were supposed to do in the LDP (especially when it came to scroll-reading -- some of those steps took us days). With the Altador mini-plot, I found that I could wait a half-hour after a new step came out and there would be full instructions up here.

Just to chime in my two cents, I think the scroll repository was much harder than the Temple of 1000 Tombs. The tombs could easily be mapped out, and it never changed between visits. However, the scroll repository had only one scroll of each needed and finding those scrolls is like hunting for a needle in a haystack. The tombs, however, just needed someone to sit down and hash out whatever version of a map they wanted. (For example, I used a text code for mine, which allowed me to use the Find function to track down all the doors.)

This plot, there was never anything so intensive to study except for the archives, and that got solved pretty quickly. By the morning after the last clue was released, a formula was developed to find the right room. So I don't think this plot was more complicated than the LDP. It's just some parts made people frustrated (the Valeous and the Water Works, namely).

In the end it doesn't really matter which was more difficult but I have to say that had I mapped out the temple of 1000 tombs I would be entirly bald while The entirety of the altador plot was pretty easy... unless you were anjuna at which point the evil meepit overlords decided to torture you with the waterplant ;) Yeah there were some other parts that caused some duress but compared to what I've heard of the LDP from friends it was infinitely easier

I finished the Altador Plot.

I never finished any other plot in the history of neopets except the Mystery Island Plot and the highly questionable "missing petpets" plot.

Therefore, the fact that I did finish the Altador Plot, and this goes for any other future plots, makes it the easiest because in my arrogance in my own ability to screw up a plot, I have elected myself as the criterion for which the hardness of plot shall be measured. Problem solved.

I think we should stop trying to argue about which plot is harder, as they were both different. The Lost Desert Plot required logic, and careful planning, whilst the Altador Plot needed finding hidden clues in and around Altador. It's like comparing cheese and chips - they're both nice, but in different ways. They're different plots, and can't be compared, in my opinion anyway. And, unlike cheese and chips, they can't be mixed.

Yum. Cheese and chips.

How long did we wait for the LPD prizes to be released? It took TNT a few months, didn't it? :(

Well, this is a mini-plot so maybe the points will probably be easier to tally. I hope we will get our prizes a little sooner then in 2 months.

It took longer to calculate the scores for LDP then it took for the actual plot. The altador plot took half as long so it should take about a month to calculate. Im geussing prizes will be awarded around the first week of July
