Besides grumphing though, I noticed something. In the Battledome, Razul's stats are now blank for me. Where before it said 'You have weakened Razul!', now there's just white space.

I agree with you on idea that if you didn't move any you didn't get any points for it. Also that the more you move the more points you should get, but I think the amount of points should be based on a proportional idea, like how many piles of sand you moved out of the total possible for your timing, because the timing between handfuls was different for everyone...and wasn't neccessarily based on agility because I remember there being overlapping times with one person having a higher agility but a longer wait time than another...

Well, I didn't think that it was very fair that the people who are lovers and not fighters, and therefore didn't have high stats, couldn't do as much moving of sand as others. I was at it as much as humanly possible but only moved 10. If I lost points because of that, it isn't fair at all. But they seemed to address that issue later. I thought the rest of the plot was quite fair.
