i love all the fake neopets. everyone of them is way cute, look at the details they look so much better then half of the neopets that are real! I love them so much im keeping them all! lol *on my pc* maybe someday they wil use some of them who knows! but they do really rock best aprils fools joke yet

I took many ss of the all pets page so I'd have them all. The wazziup cat one I thought was so adorable. I know I'll be using that image for a set at some point if I can't actually have one as a pet.
I'm kind of glad this year was more low key than the past couple of years. I think it was 2 years ago they completely changed the front page, etc. and everyone was totally freaking out thinking something awful had happened to the site and alot of people were afraid to even log in.

Anyway, I resized the ss I had done, asked if it was ok and there is a temporary page on the old guild web we used to have that really isn't used at all anymore (no need for guild webs - just was never deleted)

I reckon that the reason most of the fake pets are of better quality than the new ones is because TNT haven't had to make 50 different colours for them. It'd mean 50 times more work! I mean, if you draw one picture once, it's excellent. But having it redo it (and knowing you have to) about 50 times will mean you'll want to make as little work for yourself as possible.

Very true. But I bet you if they put a wee bit more time into some of the existing pet's colors they could look just as good.
Plus some of them I cannot picture other poses for. (Ill/bean, angry, sad.)
I wonder how many of these are just scrapped ideas for pets that never flew. Maybe all of them, perhaps?

Yeah, I think most of those are just scrapped ideas for pets that already exist. Having to revamp any pet would probably require heaps of work. You'd need to take out all the existing pet poses from the image server, and replace them with the new ones (which alone would be enough to drive anyone crazy).
