I think I know why they could name it that way. I heard that at the Grundo Adoption Agency (http://www.neopets.com/space/spaceadoption.phtml) you could adopt a Grundo, but name it "*", "!", "#", and other weird characters. If you look up those names, you'll see all Grundos. So nobody must have just left it blank.

wow, it's a realy old topic, but it seems past has its own revenges, and now the nameless grundo strikes back in the pound!
do you think it's the same Grundo you talked about before? the 'sypmtoms' are the same, no name, no stats, (and, according to the adoption button of the pound, no species!!); costs a lot of NP, and no one can adopt him even those who got the money and playing for years got the message that their account not old enough. so how is it?

I don't see a reason to resurrect this really, really old thread when we have a current thread discussing the new grundo.
