Score Reviewing

I just got my highest ever score on Whack a Kass, 1182, then on my next go, I got 1183 
When I sent the score it said that my score was being reviewed and if the score deemed suitable, I would get my neopoints and be entered onto the score boards.
Is this normal?
I've never had a game trophy before
EDIT: I just checked the score boards and I'm No1, but only with my score of 1182

Wow, how'd you get that? I can never get higher than 1177. Is there a sixth bounce?
I've never seen it before, but I presume that they look at scores that are trophy-quality to make sure they're possible. I like the idea, myself.

I've had 1181 before, but it was never good enough for the boards, so fingers crossed, because I'm in 3rd already 
I got it by chance I think.
Hopefully, my final score of 1183 is accepted and put on the board, and in my highscores, cos I want that gold trophy. Even if I'm only in gold position for 1 night I'll be happy

As of 5:30pm GMT I was in 3rd place, because of the way the scores work (isn't it reverse alphabetical. Very stupid)
As of 10mins ago, My score of 1183 has been accepted and now I'm back in 2nd place. Someone else has gotten the same score. Fingers crossed still for my trophy
