Mysteriously appearing np...

i went away last week, and when i got back the other day i had about 12k on hand which wasnt there when i left. i checked my bank and it was the same as when i left and i had nothing different in my shop. I changed my password just in case and checked my email address.

I thought i'd just forget about it, but over nite last nite (well my nite i'm in australia at the moment) another 2500np appeared on hand. again i've checked my bank and shop till etc, and i dont know where it's come from.

Does anyone have any idea where these nps are coming from? Or is this happening to anyone else?

Maybe you've gotten some really super great random events and you didn't notice?

Did you have any auctions that might have ended and the payment delivered?

Maybe a stock market payoff [if you have stocks]? o_O

Most likely it's a glitch, I'd keep the money on hand and neomail TNT about it to prevent you from getting frozen

heheh if you get away with it, thats pretty cool, extra nps, but i suppose they could have done a roll back, its happened with the petpets.. you could try submitting a bug report, but that will draw their attention to the matter, for good or for ill

I dont think it's a rollback, as in the last month i have never had about 12k on hand... and would they roll back twice??! Besides, my bank balance was the same as when i went away.

My first thought was the lottery (when i got the 12ishk) but i'm not listed on the winners.

Thinking about it. i was away for 5 nights, so thats 2.5k x 5, so it seems i've been getting 2.5k every nite for a week. is there anything that gives that away that i could have won without noticing?

Off topic to autechre: And it's funny you ask aobut Australia, i'm in WA too, like your location says you are. I'm here visiting my family, i really like it, but i'll be glad to get back to the uk (i'm leaving tonight) not coz i dont like australia, but coz my parents are driving me round the bend. oh, and when i get back i'll have cable tv - WAHOO!! (i've never had cable tv before)

Yesterday I went to withdraw NP from the bank (861,992NP) , and it let me withdraw it twice!

I sent a bug report to Neo but so far, nothing's happened

Hmm... something like that happened to me once, except for me it was a paint brush that appeared every day in my inventory for about 5 days. It was pretty cool, and over a year ago. I didn't submit a bug report or anything, and I ended up getting to keep them.

I have the same problem.
Atleast it's that or my 15 day trial of neomail.com is giving me nps.
I didn't have 100 and now I have like 3k.

it couold be the neomail maybe.... but i sent them an email requesting that all my information was removed from their records, and they sent one back saying my account had been cancelled.... it's a bit odd tho. i wonder if it happens tonite, i'll tell y'all if it does(n't)

It could be the free day trial thing, but You should probably just not say anything unless loads and loads comes. Small amounts don't really matter
