My main account "brockster_kid" has been frozen for about 5 months ... I miss the daily labbing, and the battledome weapons I had ....
I have had the urge to request an un-freezing, but I do not have the correct err ... words to get me unfrozen :/
-
My current account is so deep in the negatives literally im in -points ... it is frusterating, I have nothing but painted pets on the account ....
Someone or multiple people help me create an awesome letter for neo to unfreeze me
Thanks,
The Man Who Always Changes His Name

I'd be glad to help, but I think your best bet is contacting Morningstar via PM. She's really great at writing unfreezing letters! Good luck and try to do it as soon as possible, cause the later you wait the less chance you have.

Well, er... you can't just write to them, "yo lolz my accounts sux i need my old account bak ok -luv ur bestest friend tmwachn". Unless you were frozen for something you didn't do, and not something like you hacked someone or cheated at games and got caught, they're not gonna give your account back.

I've never had to write one, but I agree with Medli that Morningstar would be a great person to help you. I'd also be sure to be polite and give lots of specifics about your account, why it means so much, what happened, how you've never done anything wrong, etc. Definitely being polite and giving lots of details in your letter would help.

Good luck getting your account unfrozen!

ERROR : Sorry, nothing with the name 'brockster_kid' exists. Please try again!
5 months is a very long time... i recommend you do it quickly... Considering how long it take for them to reply, and I'm not talking about the automated response...

Frozen accounts never show up in the search.

The first thing you should do if you're frozen is ... after you have your initial breakdown and panic attack ... click to fill out the autoform. From what I remember and what I've read they don't give you alot of room for writing in on that.
So, unless it's changed - short and sweet on the first contact. Be polite, use proper spelling, grammar, etc. Give as much information as you can: your username, your pet(s) name(s) and petpet(s), bank type, any trades you had up or had recently done, the name of your shop and/or gallery, if you were in a guild, some of your neofriends, any specific items that would help identify you.
If you don't get a response in about a week, try writing again. Keep writing until you get a response. Then you have someone you can write back to. Just getting the name of a support person doesn't usually work anymore - you'll just get an email telling you to use the autoform.
Of course, this all depends on what you were frozen for, which you didn't specify.

In my email back to me it said i was "harrasing others" but i rarely used the boards
Thu Jul 21, 2005 2:38 am
"Harrassing" can mean many things - could be something said on one of the boards, could be a screenie put up, say, on a petpage with a username, putting a username on your lookup, pet description, petpage or even starting a topic on the boards using that person's username. Calling someone the "n" name can be considered harrassment - it is reportable and I have seen someone frozen for it.
If you've received an email from support, I would write back to that person and ask for particulars on this harrassment. Where and when it happened and to whom.

I just gave some advice to ssandgirls on how to write a letter to TNT about a frozen account. Things that worked for me in writing the letters that got my husband's and daughter's accounts unfrozen. It is here:
http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18899. I realize that my post to her is long and wordy, but worth a read.
If you think you did nothing wrong, you will need to argue your case to explain why they somehow got it wrong. If you think you might have done something wrong (you mention "harrassing others"), your best bet is to apologize and promise not to do it again. I don't know how well that works. However, I do remember that about 18 months ago or so, someone here on PPT got frozen after "losing it" on the boards. He had gotten into an argument with someone while attempting to defend PPT's good name. I don't remember the details, unfortunately. But, he got his account back after sending an email that apologized profusely for his behavior. It might work.
I really don't have any time to write a letter on your behalf, nor do I know the circumstances in order to be able to do so. Only you do. However, I am happy to review anything you have written before you send it.
