BD Equipment doubled? x.X

Is this happening to everybody?
And Will abandoning a pet with items equipped give you duplicated items?
Just wondering....

Uh I have 5 of every equipped item.....and you can unequip each and every one of them (I promptly discarded the unequipped item, a mud mixture, when it was added to my inventory)

I bet money there will be a big roll back...

I think it happens every once in awhile. Its happened to me multiple times. They just go away after the battle I believe. I'm not sure if using the doubled weapons is a freezable offence, as I just used the same weapons I had before the doppleganging. So I would play it safe and just finish the fight and see what happens without using the duped items.
