Neopets sighted at... the Dollar Store?

When I went to the Yakima, WA Dollar Tree to buy some things I wandered around and noticed in the toy section a few boxes of Neopets miniature puzzles. The ones they had were a white lupe warrior looking one, one with a scorchio wizard, one that looks like a lab of some sort, and another one. I thought it was rather odd myself. I didn't get one to shwo off, though.

Now to prevent making another topic, this is also to let you all know that I may be posting never or less often during the days of December 11th to January 8th. I'm going to Florida for a month so see my aunt (No worry's, my pets are in the Neolodge, and I'll still be logging on Neo when I get the chance for the Advent Items.)

I was sort of surprised to see the trading cards in Wal-Mart the other day. I'm really far behind in the times...because I'm sure that's old news. Can't say I've paid much attention to Neopets lately, especially not the commercial aspect.

Whoa, the Dollar Store?! Well, I have seen some things in the local dollar stores here that make me think, hmmmm, something fell off the back of a truck

They are selling the Sloth TCG booster packs at the CVS drug store right near me. Which is weird enough. Otherwise merchandise is close to impossible to get my hands on. There's NO Ltd Too within at least 30 miles of me (don't drive), no Wal-Mart or Target either.

But the Dollar Store? That's just ... sad.

I've seen the puzzles at Big Lots too, I think for 99c. No rare item in code in those tho I believe, probably why they didn't sell as well.

Neopets said they won't be making rare item codes anymore except for TCG.
99 cents american? And 5 dollars canadian? That is a big jump in price.
Seeing as the Canadian Dollar and US Dollar aren't far apart right now.

Yeah, I found some puzzles at odd lots (big lots, whatever) for $.99 I got one. The art is really pretty, especially for a dollar, and I bought a couple more for gifts for my niece and nephew. Good deal.

I saw a bunch of Neopets puzzles at Big Lots. None I liked though. My mom thought I was going crazy when I was looking at them. Her exact quote: "Neopets?". XD

Last time I went to Goodwill there was a bunch of neopets toys there. I bought one of those ones that talk, but it's currently hibernating in the back of my closet.

I bought the 100 piecers.
(This topic said Scorchio Wizard and Lupe Defender and those don't come in mini puzzles)
The mini ones are 50 piece and only come in basic neopet colours.
