Being a planet would be cool. But if you had life, it might be really stupid annoying life... like humans. *shudder* I do not envy Earth at all. But it's not as bad as being Pluto, poor thing.

A planet that big would collapse into the center, creating a giant, molten mass. That wouldn't be too much different from a star...

I'd rather be a planet. Being a star would get really old once nuclear fusion lost its novelty, but being a planet would never lose its appeal, especially if I could support life. Look at what those wacky mammals are doing on Earth!
