I like "sexy" coffee...that is coffee with anything extra to make it fancy like vanilla

I like it "hot" :P

"sexy" is rare for me, unless the coffee is just nasty to begin with (super bitter, etc.). Then the vanilla is a welcome additive.

Recently had a chocolate cheesecake infused with Kahlúa. It was amazing...but that was probably a little too much chocolate and coffee for one man to take. Heck, I'd say 4 men.

I'd have to disagree. That sounds fantastic!

Tea isn't herbs... it's a tree leaf, whilst a herb is part of a plant that is used for cookig and other stuff.

Technically, if a tree is a plant, would tea be just a drink made of herbs? And coffee is made from the roasted seeds that water ran through, which by def. an herb is any part of a plant that has a use, so is coffee and tea both herbal drinks that taste different?
[/run-on sentence]

In cooking, "herb" refers only to leafy bits. Coffee is made from the seeds of the coffee plant, therefore coffee is not made from herbs. If coffee seeds were used in nutritionally insignificant quantities, they would be considered a spice, just as caraway seeds and black pepper are considered spices. Tea, on the other hand, is usually an herbal brew. Most kinds of tea not made with actual tea leaves(so basically any kind other than green, black, white or oolong) are called "herbal" for this reason, even though some are made with what we'd normally consider spices.

Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic. But it was too much fantastic, in that I could have eaten more of it but my stomach would have given out. Too much of a good thing actually exists. ;)

All things in moderation... Take a large piece, and make it several small pieces and enjoy one per day forever.

Well, not forever... for a while.

Ah, nevermind. nom nom nom

Have I made it known I've been having a craving for coffee ice cream for awhile now? and that I'm a man capable of buying my own ice cream? and that having some at almost 9 PM is counter productive? Well, now you know. ;) *sigh*

Coffee ice cream tastes better after 9pm.

Oh the days when I could stay up late eating such delicacies (finished my craving 20 minutes ago), without having to deal with consequences in the morning. I could lapse into such thought next week (changing employ), but I'll try to hold strong. Hopefully. :battar:

Pure Black for me, fresh roast is always the best! you can really savor the taste and good arma of freshley brewed coffee, nothing beats that in the morning!

I am a big fan of coffee and i have tried almost every flavor that i know of, till nothing beats the original roast! although sometimes a frappuccino is good too, especially on those hot days :)

Pure Black. Yes. That's the way to go. I found that Costco has Starbucks French roast in a 2-1/2 pound bag for under $20. Since we started a mandatory 7:30 daily meeting at work (too friggin' early, considering the hour drive to work), I've been making my coffee at home for the travel mug every day. It's a bargain. I grind it in my burr grinder daily for maximum freshness, brew it and take it with me. It's been soooo good.

I am absolutely in love with the Mexican mocha sold at one of the local coffee shops, Stell Coffee and Tea Co.

Had a coffee mixture last night and stayed up till almost 4 AM. Can't tell if it was the coffee or just the fact that's now apparently normal for me. Grrr.

Starbucks just sent me a free packet of their new "blonde" blend of coffee. They claim it's the blend I've been waiting for. I didn't know it was coming, so I clearly couldn't have been waiting for it. :P Besides, I prefer the Starbucks' extra dark roasts such as French Roast.
