We had barbeque spareribs for dinner and salt potatoes with melted butter, so napkins were a must. We ran out halfway through serving everyone (forgot to get more at the store) and the rest of us used paper towels. This sparked my ever active curiousity into wondering what kind of napkins everyone else used. :)

I hardly use napkins. I just tend to use my hands or lick whatever's on my hands off (like when you're eating chips and you have the chip flavour on your fingers ^.^). When I do use them, they're just regular square napkins. Old-school style.

We use paper napkins most of the time. We have very rarely used paper towels, and we've only used cloth at restaurants. :)

We use, and have always used, paper napkins. Paper towels sometimes, but 99.9 percent of the time it's napkins. ;)

Normally I use my hand and wipe it on my pants.

If it's something really messy I use paper towels or paper napkins (if i eat somewhere with napkins, those, but at home we don't have any so paper towels)

Paper towels.
Mum likes to buy fancy printed ones (like flowers or fruit or kittens) I don't see the point... you're just going to wipe your mess on it and throw it away.

I never use napkins. I just wipe off whatever it is on my pants, usually. Unless it stains badly.
