I pay 2.29 a gallon. Thank heavens my car gets 25 MPG, or I'd be in deep doodoo.

We have HUGE cars. But they get 15 MPG. It's not too fun.

Argh, gas prices drive everyone, including me (and I can't drive and don't really plan on it now), insane at the moment.

We go for Supreme (92 octane). Regular (82 octane I think...) is at a record setting 105.7¢/L right now in Vancouver. However, nearly all gas stations here have the -3.5¢ discount, so factoring that in and changing the price to Supreme...110.2¢/L would answer the question.

105.7¢/L = $3.26/US gallon
110.2¢/L = $3.40/US gallon

I was in Edmonton last night, travelling westwards through the night. Prices were at 81.2¢/L, then the further west we went, the further up the price went- up to 88.4¢. Then once we entered Vancouver, BOOM! Over a dollar again.

81.2¢/L = $2.51/US gallon

I'm just so tempted into convincing my dad to drive 30 minutes out of town to get cheaper gas. I think factoring that in would still make costs cheaper. >____>
