You can rewind it if you zone out and miss something or don't understand what just happened. You can pause it to go to the fridge for a snack or to go for a bathroom break. And, best of all, you don't have to deal with all of the strange beings that seem to hang out at movie theatres.

Actually, also most dvds come with a 'directors version' or something like that...
So when you watch the movie, during each scene they explain it.
I remember Anne Hathaway was narrating in the movie the princess diaries...
Although she also explained how some scenes were done and stuff like that.

I also hate it when you have a bunch of giggling teenage girls surrounding you.

How about crying teenage girls?
When I went to go see Titanic, during the part where Jack died, there was a sea a extremly loud crying :P

My problem with most movie theaters is that they're SO cold!

But I usually go to over PG-13 and when the movie has been out like a month. I prefer to not have a lot of people in the theater.

At least you didn't get sick too. I went to see the first Harry Potter movie and both me and my mom got sick there, and it was a bad movie too. :(

Can't say I've had to put up with crying teenage girls, though I would imagine they're incredibly annoying too.

You have it in your rights to tell them to 'Shhhh', its just that you may have to dodge a slap.
