Hmm... I know I've met someone, I just don't remember...
Ooh yeah, I was in the same theater as Haley Joel Osment (premiere of Secondhand Lions at the Paramount).
I also met one of the writers of Smallville, if that counts. (Austin Film Festival baby!
) There were some other people there I met, but i forgot specifically who.

I've met the Saskatchewan Roughriders football team. You'd only know them if you follow the CFL.
My friend met Sam Roberts and Brian Adams though.

I've met about half the news personalities in Houston. Wayne Dolcefino, Debra Duncan, etc. Not that any of you know who they are.
There's a lot of people I would love to meet someday. Michelle Branch, the guys from BNL, Drew Barrymore...Why can't I meet people like them? Or at least win a contest to meet them?

Oh,at the Washington Zoo,I saw a guy who was on TV. S-something Country. News show. He talks about the Passion of the Christ. You know,that Jewish guy..I only go by what mom says. Anyway,I didnt talk to him,but wow,he was mean to his kids.

Christobel Mattingly... I was one of the few selected to go to a writing workshop starring her... and it was fun. She's a great woman... the one who wrote No Gun for Asmir.
I met The Wiggles once... briefly...
And I can't forget good ol' whatsisname, author of those stupid "Monster behind the window" things... he was a butthole.

My aunt shook hands with Prince Charles once(she was working for the gov't when he visited Canada), that's the only celebrity meeting in my family that I know of.

Umm...I've met Eric Bibb. ^_^ Oh and I might meet Tony Robinson of Blackadder and Time Team fame, because he might being going to my dad's wedding.

I met that basketball guy... with the crazy hair.. who doesnt care what other people think of him. I can't remember his name.. Qbar? Qtip?? Qmack? I dunno. But he was on the cover of a book with crazy hair, and he plays basketball and I met him.
And.. I met every player on a midget basketball team. They are proffessional.. And they are midgets. I doubt anyone would have heard of them, even if I did know the name of their team, but their mascot is this big bear. They were really cool, and really good. They could go under one net, stand backwards and throw the ball and have it go in the other net... Er that was in a gym, not a whole basketball court...

does anyone (from the uk) remember Jim'll Fix? he came for a holiday and stayed in our hotel in blackpool

Lessee... I met Avi when he was presenting to a school, the school advisor-person took me and the only other girl from Creative Writing there. Either she thought we had the most promise or the boys didn't want to go. Avi's got a huge ego. Ugh... once he didn't go to his own signing. And, erm, my friend from second grade's got a signed copy of Sorcerer's Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban... we all thought JKR was her mom, they're identical! And... I learned the real name of the lady who dresses as Minnie Mouse... it's Marcie!
Plus I met some conductor for Disney movies, he conducted us. We were terrible XD.

Well the closest I've been to a real celeb would be Gary Beals. (Canadians that wached Candian Idol 1 would know who he is). I talked to hime for like 1 second and had to leave with the autograph because all 200 kids in the school got an autograph. He is okay. His hair was in the weirdest cornroll I ever saw.
