Probably because I have no idea how to delete a cookie. And I have Ad-Aware, but no idea how it works. I also have Norton Security (DIIIIEEEE Norton Firewall!).

Well, my computer has some sort of weird cookie on it that gives the computer innapropriate popups and ads. For some reason, my father always blames me for it. One time it was, but I didn't know any better and have done nothing wrong since. Yet, he's already banned me from one site because he thinks I'm doing it on that site. And now that we have a weird cookie again, like I said before, I will most likely be blamed for it and banned from this site. I'm not sure, but if I mysteriously leave and never return, this is a head's up.

No Dawn, don't leave! Download lavasoft addware! It litteraly CLEANED this computer, I had computer hijacking programs on there! It is amazing!

Hmm.. never heard of a cookie giving popups.. its probably an activex control, or a toolbar. i used to get those when i had an activex control from some porn website.. (i dunno how it got there...)

like everybody says, ad-aware is fantastic... i had all sorts of crap like that on my computer.... very inappropriate stuff, and it traveled through my network onto my DADS computer.... so we both had the stuff.... then we cleaned them up and now im pop-up free again...... just take some time to clean your computer then come back... i was gone for about 5 days because of that *i dont think anybody notcied, but oh well...* good luck!
